I say he was an immortal *ques Queen*
Laygate, South Shields? Are you sure this was in Japan?
Anyway, totally kickass, wherever it happened.
Shit, they saw me! *jumps back into the shadows*
Seriously though, that's right out of a comic book, that's awesome.
Well, I must have misread, I thought it was in japan.
That is totally radical.
wha? no nifty catch phrase/catchy battle cry? what kind of super hero is this?!
That sounds like it would be great to have seen.
I kid I kid
man so Im not the only one with the batman complex eh?
Here's a serious question; how the hell did this so called Vigilante know that the police were in trouble? I mean seriously; it sounds a little too contrived for my tastes as if the supposed vigilante staged the event to live out his Super Hero Fantasy/Fetish, and I'll bet I'm not the only one who thought this.
Otherwise this Samurai Sword wielding dude has some serious ESP going for him or something.
Strange, but good news non the less
I wonder how this vigilante used his sword if he didn't seriously hurt anyone? Its still a fun story. Hope he was wearing a cool costume.
it's Hiro from Heroes, he can now cross between his world and ours
Man, I'd have paid to see that.
Maybe he was a neighbor or just walks around with a big-ass sword? How the hell do Batman and the others find people in trouble? Oh, wait, that's made-up...
And, apparently, this story is actually from the UK, not Japan. Even stranger then, no?
My guess would be that he lives in that area where there seems to be a lot of gang trouble, and he heard the noise from the fighting and decided to assist.
The police were responding to a woman in trouble, my guess is he heard it too and decided to go help. Considering the story was he hit one of them in the arm with his sword, it sounds as though the sword was blunt, meaning it was a display piece. Probably the first thing he grabbed on his way out of his place that he thought would scare off would-be attackers.
Anyone else think of "Watchmen" after reading this?
