YouTube - Transformers Animated Power Bots Cyber Speed Bumblebee Review

This just came out in US Retail Stores like Walmart and Target for $20 is the NEW Animated Power Bots Cyber Speed Bumblebee. Based on the Movie Cyber Stomping Talking Optimus Prime and Bumblebee that Came Out Last Year. This Figure is aimed at younger kids like the Bumper Battlers with tons of Voice and Sound Clips. He Says about 10 Different Phrases with sounds mixed in like the transformation sound, shooting laser sounds, and car siren and engine sounds. Also his eyes and Stinger/Taser Lights up Blue. He also can roll if you lay him down. He Also has his left hand extend and making punching sounds. He has good head and arm articulation but very little leg articulation. Little Kids and Bumblebee Fans will LOVE THIS!

My Opinion I Love Talking Transformers however even with my love for Bumblebee this figure can get annoying and it's only good if you like hearing Bumblebee talk and like a big display piece. I Recommend this for little kids or Bumblebee fans but not really for anyone else.

Easy pass for me. I would break the head off that toy before having to listen to all of those phrases again.

A Transformers that cant transform into something, this always was an odd concept.

Well if there was anything redeeming from that video it was knowing people can have a really good time with boring toys still :)

That would be fun for it target age group, I'm sure. How much was that toy??

I can't believe I didn't notice this before, but how close are those to scale of GI Joes? Or other human character toys? They(BB and supreme optimus) almost feel like show counterparts for use of that.

I saw this the other day at my Wal-Mart and passed on it even though it does look appealing and is very show accurate I already own the Deluxe "TRANSFORMING" Version.

I still can't get rid of my movie BB that hooks up to my computer god that was a horrible purchase.

Anyway all in all it's cool for the kids to annoy the living hell out of their parents with. XD

Well as a BB fan I found him worth picking up for a couple reasons:
    1. I personally think TFA BB is so much cuter than Movie BB so I didn't buy much movie BB stuff beyond the basic deluxes, so I'm glad to see TFA is following up with a lot of BB merchandise than I'm more interested in buying (much better than that ugly Cyber-Stomper which I didn't buy)
    2. winning the VA contest at BotCon I was able to hang out with Bumper who's a cool guy, so I thought this was worth buying at least one BB toy with a cool voice chip feature

So if your a BB fan and you like TFA it's kinda cool to have for $20 (the price of only 2 deluxes), but otherwise it's probably a pass.

LOL! Yes They Will Annoy The Hell Out Of Them For Sure!

LOL! Was it cuz Bumblebee Talked More Than Me? :p

He is Cuter and I like Bumblebee especially in the show and even tho I like Talking Transformers the voice clips are a bit too much. I have the Bumper Battlers Bumblebee and he says pretty much the same things as the Cyber Speed One.

I'm glad to see it finally on the shelves. I went to the Cincinnati Botcon and got to play with his prototype toy! =3 I accidentally left my notebook and the woman saw my drawings and introduced me to the design team personally! It was my first botcon *happy sigh* ....

Definitely not gonna buy it but I still think it looks decent, wouldn't be a bad shelf piece. I guess it's true, you kinda have to like the character though - which I do.

    It's a clearance purchase :p
