On Dec 21st last year I was kicked out of my band. I was completely devastated and turned to alcohol. This was one of the last things we did and I am completely proud of. It's a good song. Especially if you're a metal head and love screaming!

Sadly, I was kicked out of this band because I was spending too much time with my family. It hurt. Like REALLY hurt. But I want to share this video with you because I'm very proud of what I did and accomplished. While in this band, we opened for Dillinger Escape Plan, Filter, Soilwork, nodes of ranvier, evergreen terrace, the bled, haste the day, i am the ocean, parkway drive, my children my bride, clifton, moria, the network, the funeral pyre and many others. Sadly I haven't touched my drum set since December 21st LAST year. But, I soon hope to do so.

If anything, I hope you enjoy the video. Or think it sucks! (Nickelback and Creed fans, I'm lookin' at you)

without further adieu I give you Mechanism Of Eves video for "The Righteous, wounded"

I hope Deathstorm likes this :)

Death Metal isn't really my thing, but I did keep wanting to scream out "ORIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Cool man, very cool. I respect the talent ;)

Thanks man! And I think Deathstorm would agree, this isn't death metal. It's heavy and there is a lot of screaming. But not enough blast beats. Its also, not screamo. Because my singer wasn't bitching and screaming about his love life. However, he was involved with my bass player before she joined the band. And yes, she is hot. But she also had bad breath and poor hygiene habits.

Right on dude that was pretty awesome right there. Didn't like the vocals, but every thing else was really great. Sorry to hear about the falling out though, band politics are a bitch. Spending too much time with my Girl friend in High school got me the boot in my first band...

Yeah, biggest complaint was the vocals. Couldn't deny that guys stage presence though. Big influence of ours:Will Haven. look em up!

Very solid instrumentals. As an enormous fan of Dream Theater, I definitely like the harder sound, but prefer a bit more melodic vocal approach.

My band in college played progressive rock (ELP, old Genesis, King Crimson, Yes) and I definitely miss playing. I even built a studio in my house, but it became a nursery. Yeesh, it's been about five years since I last played guitar regularly.

Awesome shit man, death metal rules, everything else is lame.

The bands I was in were called Faceplant,Korruption, Undecidead, Free Beer & Incursion502. Best days of my life.

Undecidead was my main one. Our thing was trying to come in last place for every contest we'd enter. We came in last at all the car shows, by screwing up our set in the last minute by cussing or showing our penises off.
They always cut our power off :lol

Last place rules, fuck first place

I'm drummer myself Orion so and I was kicked out of a band as well back in 06' so I know what you must have been going through with being kicked out. I havn't touched my drums since then either of '06. I love your style of metal but just not into the vocals but I love speed metal and trash metal with some just plain ol' classic metal.

I like the melodic over heavy stuff too. Couldn't get this guy to sing though! Hell, couldn't even get him to write more simple lyrics so there was a hook.

I'm not sure why it won't load for ya :(  also, Happy Berfday!

    :lol  "Free Beer" thats fantastic.

Yeah, I don't really miss their style. After I was given the boot they went to more of a metal gaze sound. Like Isis, Cult of Lune and Rosetta. Thats just not my style. I'm to fuckin A.D.D. to write 10 minute songs.

    Teh Zom-B's? :rock

If it'll make you feel better, join a shitty band and get kicked out on purpose :lol

Just ignore everyone and play solos only all the time until they tell you to gtfo.
Whenever someone says something, take a drink off your beer and continue solo.

Orio - awesome stuff! Used to be in a band as well, but the rest of the guys wanted to stay in the technical death metal style, while I wanted to do more meoldic stuff, ala Symphony X and Iced Earth.

I opted for the more calm, sedentary lifestyle, while they still party much. We've parted ways, but I'm pretty proud of the boys, they've recorded an album and are working on a second one.

    I like it.
My advice: Get back on them drums!
That's gotta be a great stress reliever, both the drums, and being able to get on stage and just RAAAAAAAAARGH!!! I wish I had a voice that would allow me to do that. My "metal growl" is terrible. Nobody would ever come see me!

Maybe. If I find the right people I want to play with yeah.

    :lolol

Sa'll good, it was like a year ago and we still talk.

Sounds like we were in the same boat hook!

Totally is a great stress reliever! But more for me its putting out that art. As long as I'm doing something creative I'm all good
