The plastic may be good quality, but the colour is awful. Really tacky looking. The stand is very distasteful (as already mentioned) and it's a floppy mess. Overpriced junk that is bound to disappoint in-hand.

Several people have mentioned an upcoming Hasbro release - I assume this is just speculation?

 

Cool fig but too costly and its the 3rd custom Arcee released, I'd pick it up for $50 but $100 no can do. Nice piece of work BTW and love the anal beads.

Well, this does look nice... but not $100 worth of nice... and just to put that into perspective I just dropped $100 to pre-order the Dark Scyther upgrade from TF Source, plan on preordering Protector as soon as it's available and have every 3rd party item made by FansProject with the exception of the Cliffjumper Upgrade kit they made. Also, Perfect Effect... I've bought their Sword (the version intended for Prime) and all their little gun guys thus far as well... and I'll grab all the other little weapon upgrade TFs they have planned too.

Just can't convince myself that she's worth $100... for $50 to $60 I'd bit, but it's too simplistic and obviously can not stand on it's own to be worth what they want for it. Not to mention... it's I-Gear and their quality tends to be a bit... lacking. Of the three things of theirs I've bought... only the City Commander Weapons set was remotely worth it. Honestly, I'd love to see FansProject tackle Arcee and blow both Delicate Warrior and Valkyrie out of the water.

Also, Hasbro hinted at a Generations release of Arcee at Botcon along with Kup and, even if that doesn't pan out... my Animated Arcee is a good enough representation of said character until Hasbro does a Generations Arcee or until a decent third party release of the character happens.

Which was crap with it's poor paint applications that were already rubbed off in areas before I touched the toy..
It's a shame if I didn't spend $70+ on that toy (only to trade it a few weeks later) I might have spent the money to give the igear version a try..

Now.. I'm left scared.. so I'll wait for a hasbro release I suppose.
Or repaint an animated.
