What would people consider to be a fair price for victory leo.

    MIB, opened but unused?

I paid $300 for my MIB piece a couple of years ago. But, I bought him simultaneously with my MIB Star Saber (also for $300) so I got a bit of a deal.

Have you done an Ebay search for completed auctions?

^G1. Yeah I've done an ebay search but ebay is erratic in terms of the price trend, there was one auction that ended two days ago for an AFA'd piece but i have no interest in that.

Just to be clear, the one i was thinking of getting has unused stickersheet, missiles still on sprue, box in good condition, etc.

    it's just opened, that's all

    Hmm.

What about a victory saber giftset. The box is a bit beat up, some stickers falling off, missing sword and victory leo's missiles?

Honestly, I would not go after a gift set in that condition unless you really just want to own the toy. The sword blade is a pain to find, and I would expect other issues with the toy as well given its condition (joint wear, discoloration, etc.). If you are going to spend a large amount of money, you might as well wait for a toy in the condition that you want.

I agree that you will need at least $300 to chase an MIB opened Victory Leo, especially these days. I bought an opened, stickered Leo complete in clean condition (missing a missile) for $250- but that was 2-3 years ago.

i see. What if the giftset is about $290 shipped? (just to be clear, the giftset c326, not individual star saber and victory leo figures shipped to together)

    thanks

I'd say there is no way you will pay $290 shipped for a C-236 giftset.

I paid like $120 for my loose mint sword-bladeless Star Saber, and like $250 for my loose mint Victory Leo with no missiles. Boxed figures add at least a hundred bucks to both of those I'd say, and the giftset is leaps and bounds more expensive.

Well as I said, the box is a bit beat up and has a tear running through the bottom right corner.

Here is a pic with the figures (missing sword/missiles, stickers falling off)

my quoted price is $290 shipped. Worthwhile or not?

Hmm, $290 shipped sounds like a fair deal for the set in that condition, especially when you factor in the cost of shipping that huge box. Very little apparent sticker wear, which is usually a good indicator of other play wear. I might still be on the fence because of the missing sword, but that is a good price.

Be wary of damage on the back of the figures since they didn't remove it from the box to photograph. If you trust the seller, it's probably fine. The brainmaster looks a little off-color- maybe it's just the lighting?

Make sure they pack it up securely before shipping.
