I was just struck by an incredibly random desire to see something.

I looked at one of my figures and, for what ever reason, the idea of seeing it get shot using a high speed camera popped into my head.

I think that would be quite interesting to see, a transformer being shot on a high speed camera. There's a lot of pieces that could go flying in a glorious symphony of destruction. If I had A) a gun, and B) a high speed camera I would love to create such an montage.

Just thought I'd share. Don't you feel good you clicked this link?

if you have access to a sand blaster or a walnut blaster it would be even better... unending stream of destruction, plus battle damage!

The resulting battle damage will make it a one-of-a-kind, so you'll get to see the destruction and also increase the value. I say you do it and post the link here.

Transformers are more durable in their alternate modes. Fact or myth?

Older Transformers are more durable than newer ones. Fact or myth?

Autobots are more durable than Decepticons. Fact or myth?

... there's so many ways you can go with this, all of which could include blowing them up. Personally though, I just couldn't do it, even for science.

You don't want to waste Tuner Mudflaps on a scientific endeavor such as this. Tuner Mudflaps would be better suited for "Will It Blend?"

MISB is the most damage resistant I hear. Maybe a couple of RTS Windchargers to practice on first OP, work your way up through your collection with different calibers. :D  It is a cool concept in all seriousness but I wouldn't do it to my own. Grab a friend/enemy's stuff. :lol
