Event: Transformers The Last Knight Super Fan Day Report Part 2

Someone quoted this in another thread but i couldn't find the original post. Maybe this will calm everyone down some. It is from someone who went to the SuperFan event, but it is the same footage that was shown at CinemaCon. GET HYPE!!!

So I guess this confirms the shot from the one trailer where Grimlock 'dies' on the road is in fact him actually coming out of the ground (guess he's part wabbit) to attack, since apparently he and Slug completely dispatch the cars with ease.

In this sequence we see the TRF gearing up to capture a target. From all appearances, their target is Cade! Among those leading this group is Lennox. Next we see a dramatic sequence where military vehicles drive along a highway only to be attacked by Grimlock and Slug! The Dinobots make quick work of the vehicles, tossing them into the air and knocking them aside. It was a really dramatic sequence and reminded everyone that the Dinobots represent incredible power. I will also say for such a dramatic sequence the camera was surprisingly still compared to previous films. There is one great shot of Slug from roughly a human's level that was amazing to behold and will look amazing on an IMAX screen."

OK, this sounds good.

 

The description of the event really supports one thing I've always believed: Bay may not be the best director, but he's a really cool guy.

I hope this movie is an improvement over AOE. At least to the degree DOTM improved on ROTF.

 

That highway battle with trf and the dinobots sounds visually amazing!

 

Nah, chances are Crosshairs is gonna die or something and it'll be Ironhide Dies all over again.

 

I've been thinking that even though we have been given lots of new footage here and there NONE OF It Has BEEN complete probably missing 50% cgi etc

 

So I don't really want to read any of the spoilers, but I take it his impression of what he saw was pretty good?

 

So basically anyone can take a spin at what they saw.

Some people probably just want to see things burn.

 

Um, wasn't this very artificial posted up a few days ago? I read this in 2 other threads now.

 

What he saw he liked and thought it was good.

Beat up by a Headmaster and killed in the same movie. Poor bugger.

So what some thought looked like metal on Cade's arm, under that white shirt, is actually metal.
After this confirmation about Lennox, I kinda hope he bites it by movie's end, freaking traitor.
I'm still not liking Cogman.
Roddy actually sounds amusing.
I'm wondering if the Bot that has a unique fighting style could be Drift. He is a Samurai, and seeing that style would be awesome.
Cade sounds like he's become the new Sam, with the connection to a Cybertronian relic.

Nowhere did it say or hint that Crosshairs dies. It said Cogman kicked his aft, because Cogman is an ahole.

I hope so, too. I love Movie Drift, and he deserves a decent limelight. ("I was expecting a giant car!" was good start, though)

Plus, I really want the TFs to display actual fighting styles and not just ragdoll with weapons in their hands until everything aound them dies. They always fight so sloppily, yet their strikes land perfectly. It's not bad fighting, it's just not impressive fighting.
