    Cool. Odd that the Prime looks untransformable. I wonder if early on they had decided that the movie toys were too complex to replicate, so they were just making figures.

    Yup, which of cause it what Hasbro do on very early concepts - examples of which were shown on the tour of their offices.

    And yeah, pretty darn accurate for a first attempt at Movie Prime.

    I like the engineering drawings of Prime in that gallery...first time I've ever seen those.
