I was re-watching Venture Bros. season two, and in the first episode Rusty fires Hector and Swifty, later on in "Vivos los Muertos!" Dr. Orpheus exclaims "Who is Hector Malina (not sure if I spelled that right)and why do they keep giving me his junk mail!?!" would it be far fetched for me to think they're the same person?

No, and its likely meant to be a joke about how little Dr. Venture knows or cares about his employees and his business, in that he can't even be bothered to settle their affairs at Venture Industries or tell his neighbours about them.

Venture Bros. has some subtle jokes, this is likely one of them.

From what I got from the show, they where the same person. Since his sidekick was hector and he lived in the compound. Rusty is just so full of him self he cant even remember his old friends.

No the series has a lot of in jokes. It's very plausible.
