Hey everyone. Starting a new thread, which will hopefully show WIP renders of my current and future Classics models. If you saw my last two posts in my classics prime thread, you would of read that Prime is on hold. Due to working on Classics Megatron. :)

My megatron model is going well. So far, the front and back of the shoulders will be changed. Everything else in the renders is basically done, except some parts that need some tweaking.

Thanks for the comments everyone. :)

RHansen> I use Softimage XSI 4.2. I love the modelling tools in it. I have tried Maya, but only after I had learned XSI. Maya is a good package, but I couldn't find the tools that I'm used to in XSI, so I just stuck with it.

Split Lip> Most of the right side is a mirrored copy, that updates automatically when the original object on the left side is edited. I'll be modeling the trigger soon. :)

Whoa DUDE! Looks very impressive. My only crit is, is it really necessary to have so many faction symbols on him? I'm primarily thinking about the ones on his back.

Y'know, Venks, every now and then someone comes along and posts something that makes me sit here and think to myself "Why the hell am I bothering?"
    And it's usually you ;)
AWESOME work, buddy. Truly flawless modelling!

Pretty good so far, I can't wait to see how you model the face since most modelers get hung up on that.

Thanks again for all your comments. :)

CdnShockwave> There definitely are too many con symbols. The ones on the shoulders will be removed. Then the ones on the front and back of his chest will remain.

Draven> Thanks again for your comments. You still are one of my inspirations when it comes to 3D work(modeling/animation). I remember one of the first Redemption trailers you made, with the Rammstein song(Sonne?). That trailer has stuck to my mind, and set a bar for me both modeling and animation wise.

Star Cracker> I actually started this model by making the face. I've got the basic geometry worked out. I'll probally work on it, and try to get it done over the weekend. When it looks finished, I'll post a render up.

nOObiE do0> Don't give up on modeling. I have seen you improve your skills faster than I did. Heres something to help motivate you. Its my first 3d model ever, done 7 years ago. I know you can do better than this. :D
