I didn't go full on show accurate with this guy. The cars on the show are VERY purple and I didn't dig it so much. With this I mixed a very dark metallic purple and the root bits are gun metal painted over with a thin layer of grape pearl.
    Chrome face and wheels. Woots.

I want to see someone take a vehicon and mod him to become Barricade. I'd imagine Barricade would be commander of ground troops or something like that.

    Added a car mode pic.
I wanted to sell a set of three of these but getting the one was hard enough as is.

In time, you'll be able to. This fellow alone might fund the project!

What "root bits" are you referring to? Also, any disassembly or primer in spots? Yes, I'm planning to rip you off again, but only for personal use!

    Meant to say "robot". Oops.

I pulled the arms and legs off and apart a tad. Also the head per usual. Oh, I opened the torso so I could pop the clear chest piece off.
The only primer used was on the bright purple bits of the gun and car.

Awesome job Cheet. I took mine out in the sun today and found out they were actually deep purple instead of black. :lol  What chrome did you use? MM 28003 Silver Custom Lacquer System by chance?

    Model Master's Chrome Silver.
And yeah, the plastic is a SUPER deep purple that I only saw under my desk lamp.

I try to detail the paints I use in my blog with links to them online.

I usually check it but just didn't today yet. I'm a big fan and use it and your schemes to fix my personal figures too. It's tough to get paint here though so I have to substitute. MM28003 silver Custom Lacquer System is the easiest chrome cheat you can do IMO, one coat coverage and similar to Alclad or Alsa with a good black undercoat. Those rims are really gleaming on it. :thumb

no offense but whenever i see this mold i keep thinking of g1 micromaster ground hog. but he's a classics/universe/generations update for him. add energon prowl as barricade, generations tracks as motorhead and classics mirage as rollor force. vehicon keeps reminding me of him.
