Will the Vehicon end up being the best figure to come out of the Prime toyline this year, with its awesome transformation and zero kibble in bot mode?

    A) No,
    B) He's got the front quarter panels hanging off his legs.

Wheeljack has the same "no kibble" Vehicon does, with only the windows under his forearms.

I seriously think I'm gonna be majorly disappointed if I ever get Vehicon, because everyone's hyping it so much.

I've heard people say that just to be amazed like everyone else.

That's why I'm so excited to get one. And by one I mean three. Or five.

not really "hanging off",more like connected to his legs and look/fit just fine being he is a robot that transforms from a car, there is no kibble on this figure whatsoever.

I have four of 'em. They all are pretty fun. Not the "greatest toy from the Prime toyline''.....but is very much up there.

Me too (have 4) and he's up there with FE OP and Bulkhead I'll say. Not sure about the absolute best yet since the line is still coming out/not done.

Honestly though, my wallet is rather thankful of those those guys not being out yet haaha.

... but yeah, I like both Vehicon molds a lot, but I don't think either of em are gonna surpass deluxe Starscream on my tier list. They're both pretty damn close though, and I can see both of those voyagers being rather strong contenders as well, possibly even on equal footing with the FE voyagers.

Vehicon is the best deluxe of the TFP line. The only challenge might be the jet version.

Not when they share a mold. They can share the royalties.

I have him, and I think he's a VERY good mold, but as far as Deluxes go, FE Cliffjumper is king in my book. FE Starscream is EXTREMELY good too; better than RID Vehicon. I think a lot of the appeal of RID Vehicon rests with the fact that he's so elusive. That doesn't mean he's not a good figure, he's great actually. But realistically, he's not as good as FE CJ or FE Starscream.

If we're including the entire line, however, then FE Bulkhead has yet to be surpassed. Honestly, I doubt we'll ever get a Prime figure that beats out FE Bulkhead.

He is definately one of my favorites in terms of show accuracy, lack of kibble, and overall coolness. Only thing I don't like are the arms are kind of weird. I'm not sure I would say he's my favorite, but he is up there.

FE Bulkhead and FE Optimus are by far the best figures to come out of the Prime line.

I think RiD Vehicon is one of my favorite carformers in recent memory.

In addition to just a great design (I love the look of the Prime Vehicon in both robot and car mode) that's translated very well to a figure, he's immensely posable, has a lot of options for his weapon, and a novel and fun transformation.

I don't have FE CJ, but I think Vehicon's definitely a better figure than FE Screamer. As unusual as this is for me to say, Vehicon's got a better vehicle mode. Screamer has a lot of undercarriage kibble (yes, we expect some, but Screamer's is surprising to me) and his chest is plainly visible in jet mode. It doesn't look like a chest, necessarily, but it clashes with the sleek jet mode (as does the kibble, of course).

Anyhoo, I do think Vehicon is the best Prime figure I own, easily. I don't have FE Bulkhead or Prime, but I'm very impressed with Vehicon.

He's got a great design, as posable as you could want (except for a waist, possibly), plenty of weapon options, and a fun and inventive transformation. He's one of the best Deluxes I've gotten in a long time.

I don't have the vehicon yet, but my favorite deluxe I've seen is FE cliffjumper... I agree though with those saying FE Op and Bulkhead are the best- I've had both and both are excellent toys

    Agreed about the leg kibble.

And it is kibble. Don't know why folks choose to ignore it since those wheels and car panels do hang off the side of the calves. If the designers made it so they could be turned all the way down to tab into the side of the shins, that would have been more show accurate. But they didn't.

That and the weird, janky arms. Perhaps they're show accurate but they still look very weird to me in toy-form. The poseability is nice though.

Overall, I like the RiD mold very much. He's much more accurate and poseable than the FE version, and I dig how the legs accordion and fold up neatly, kibble notwithstanding.

However.... aside from the kibble and weird arms I already mentioned, I don't particularly care for the cheaper feeling, bendier plastic that Hasbro used for the mold, along with the muted colors and fewer paint apps are inferior to FE Vehicon (which has more kibble and less poseability, sure, but the plastic feels much better in hand and I like the color scheme better). Also he looks, feels, and is a bit smaller than the FE version.

I'd say Wheeljack is the better designed toy but that's just me.
