    Remember the last two years?

Yeah, you do. We got toys of a dumptruck, an ice cream van, and a biplane.

We got a decent forklift, snow plough and bomber, too.

So. What vehicles have yet to be done as a Transformer?

Or what vehicles have yet to be done justice as a Transformer?

And are there any existing characters that would fit as such vehicles?

For instance, correct me if I'm wrong, but we've yet to see a steamroller. Or a bicycle.

Personally, and feel free to disagree, I don't think we've got a decent cement mixer yet. G1 and ROTF Mixmaster just haven't done it for me (a TFA Mixmaster may have done).

I reckon any famously cumbersome character would make a decent steamroller, depending on the context of a new line or series, I could accept a Sludge or a Bulkhead steamroller.

I suppose Wheelie would be the likeliest candidate for a bicycle but why not be a bit esoteric? He's an old crank*, why not Kup?

*Yeah, you saw what I did there.

I'm pretty sure there was a bicycle mini-con in Armada.

I stand corrected. Sorry, A/C/E is a blind spot for me.

Have we had any sort of trike? Motorised or pedal.

What vehicles have yet to be done as a Transformer?

The first two that come to mind is a blimp and a hot air balloon.

Some early cars would be good. Maybe something like a Model T as a counterpart to ROTF Ransack.

I'd like to see some more helicopters, but only if they ditch the habit of screwing them up with stupid "push button to turn rotor blades" gimmicks. I've got hands, I can turn the rotors if I want to.

Sureshock from Armada was a moped, would you count that?

I agree on the steamroller, I'd love to see one of those for an alt mode someday.

Cement Mixer, ehhhhh, I can't think of an obvious choice right away, but there are a good half dozen different cement mixer TFs along the way. RotF Mixmaster is probably just about the best we have got so far, all he lacks is a rotating cement barrel. He's got the other features, like the chute on the back for the cement to pour through. He's just about the most detailed cement mixer truck ever designed. Robot mode is a case of your mileage may vary, I admit.

I could've sworn there was a steamroller, but he was a micro master or something.

Who, incidently, was named Wheelie in Japan.

I'd really like to see more WW2-era vehicles, and more muscle cars, hopefully based on real models.

blugnhole, Wheeljack Prime, Recall - yes, yes, yes, this is the kinda thinking that TFW2005 is all about and we need at Hasbro. Cigars all round, we are geniuses.

    prime13 - yes, but wouldn't Splashformer get marketed as a triple-changer?

Optimus Sledge - aren't we getting a Model T as part of the next line of ROTF scouts?
But, yes, lots of vintage cars would be great.

Sol Fury - sure, I'll count a moped.
Wasn't there a G1 targetmaster that was a cement mixer? In the same line as Quake? He was quite fun.
Good points, but I still think we're yet to see the zenith of a transforming cement mixer.

    SPLIT LIP - good knowledge.

Aernaroth - I would loving love to see some more '40s vehicles. Can you imagine the leader-size Lancaster bomber? A Gypsy Moth, a Sopwith Camel, a Spitfire?
    That'd be bad rear-end.

Also, have we had a NY taxi (other than that recent minicon)? That, or a British black cab seem obvious gaps in the deluxe car range.

Perceptor as a mobile library anybody? ;)

It's entirely possible, I don't tend to keep up with the news from Toy Fair that much. I like being surprised over a long period as bits filter through to Toy Discussion. Makes the fun last longer. :D

A proper rocket might be fun, like a Saturn V or something. Make it a combiner so that each jettisoned stage is it's own robot. I suppose it's a bit obsolete as most jet TFs can get into space on their own, but it would be interesting to see.

Sweeeeeeeeeet! Maybe not quite old enough to be a counterpart/rival for Ransack, but looks good all the same.

    Ebay:
    Bus
    Limo
    Golf Cart
    Street Cleaner
    Airport Vehicle with Stairs
    Trolley Car
Train cars that aren't engines (boxcar, oilcar, hopper car).
    Tugboat
    Farm Tractor

I can't think of any other vehicles that haven't had some form of it done. Yes the cement mixer is done, even if people don't think they are good or if a specific model of cement mixer wasn't done.

I'd count Omega Supreme & the Armada Mini-con as rockets.
