I don't know if this was discussed before, I tried to search but didn't come up with anything. But does anyone realize how much Vector Primes face looks like the autobot symbol? If you squished his helmet down a little you would almost have an exact replica of the auotbot symbol there. aside from the eye-brow lines

yes it was discussed back when Galaxy force was a brand new thing... it was done intentionally to be the source of the autobot logo, same for soundwave's face for the decepticon logo

Yes...that was discovered as soon as the Galaxy Force toy came out last year.

    Little late...but still cool ;)

Top of his head is tapered the wrong way. The autobot symbol gets wider at the top, VP's head gets smaller....

Thats why I said Squash his hemelt down some.

I know I posted a long time ago to that I thought he was modeled after the "The Last Autobot" from the Marvel Comics. Even his face was the Autobot logo. So someone definately model Vector Prime after him..

I wonder why i could find this topic using the search. I searched for anything containing Vector Prime, Face, Autobot logo, etc.. hmmm.

I'd say you couldn't find it because it was before the last board purge. Probably long gone by now.

I know Vector Prime's is modelled after it now, but wasn't the Autobot symbol originally based on G1 Prowl's face?

I'm so careless I'd have never noticed those similarities myself.
Still unsure about Prowl =Autobot insignia, though. I might stare at it some more.

Once you get above Prowl's brow, the similarity kinda fizzles. There are a couple of similar contours, but... I mean, I do believe that the symbol is based on his face, but I'm thinking they wanted to round off the top since the Decepticon logo already had the whole "evil spikey thing" going on.
