Awesome, but from vehicle mode pic's, it looked like it was E.Six-Shot in Vector Prime's Body, he does look awesome though.
If I saw him on clearence, I would'nt even hesitate.

Doesn't look bad, but doesn't look terribly exciting either.

What would've hooked me is some more metallic colors and a paint wash/wipe in a dark color to accent the masses of detail sculpted into that guy.

It looks alright, but I think it's missing something. It feels as though it should have something more.

...I liked it better when it was orange...

This looks nearly identical to those pre-production shots that were on the cards and stuff at SDCC last year, though. You know, the pic of VP holding 2 swords? He was this brown color nearly identical to this toy.

Either they need to mold it in a better plastic color (and give it a paint wash to bring out the details) or paint it gold. As of now, this thing is butt ugly, and by butt I mean the rear end of a cross between a bulldog and a rat.

...yeash... they managed to take a toy that looked really really awesome and make it freakin' ugly by using some really bad plastic! Uck!

Seriously, the need to either paint it or get a different plastic color, because right now it looks like I may be skipping it... we'll see though...

You know, given we've had YEARS of fully painted prototypes in promotional photography by both Hasbro and Takara, you'd think people would realise production models wouldn't be fully painted (Eg, Galaxy Convoy, original Vector Prime, Masterpiece Convoy ect)

In any case, Vector Prime here will be more metallic looking in person, and not tan like Six Shot.

Seeing those pics really took the wind out of my sail when I saw the title of the thread. I was hoping to be more gold and orange from the Wal-Mart promo pic we saw a few months ago. That maize and red really don't look good together. A really big disappointment and gonna pass on this figure.

Definitely looks less shiny. Still, the main reason I'm passing on it is that I don't want to have to add paint aps to a second Vector Prime. The first one wasn't bad, but it's not something I'm dying to do again.

The Cyber Key looks nice, though. Why couldn't they paint it the first time?

Yeah, anyone who was expecting this toy to actually be all shiny and glittery like the promo pics on Walmart.com clearly hasn't been paying attention for...well, basically all of Cybertron.

Anyway, I like it. The colours work well together and the tan/gold background shows off the sculpting detail a lot better than the bright white used in the original release (or even the grey on GF Vector Prime). I may add some extra black and silver applications when I get this one, but it doesn't need much tinkering. However, the colour palette would be more appropriate for a Decepticon, so he'll also be getting a repro 'Con symbol and a faction swap.

Yeah, "me too" on liking it more than the first one -- of course, I'd still rather have either of the shiny things shown in the promo shots...

I think it's pretty ugly myself. I respect that they're trying something pretty unique, a colorscheme they've not really used too often, but I don't know. It just looks ugly to me.

Looking at it further, I like the black and gold/tan together, but the orange/red just throws it off, especially the orange sword.
