Very nice Rumble! That's hot soldiers Soundwave, which means those other figures are MFT, right? So more of a legends+, right? Not a criticism - I prefer legends+ and that's all I collect besides MP.

Would that Rumble design still work if you scaled him down enough to fit in Soundwave's chest? I'd be very surprised if it did but just thought I'd ask anyway.

Awesome job on the design. Very clever and the figure looks great.
Also love the colors you have on your painted Rumble. Would you be willing to share which brand and colors you used?
    Thanks

Hi guys thanks all for thumbs up on this.

Yes more of a legends+ version but not to say he won't go with other dx9 collections aswell, i think he could tbh but depends on what peoples ideas are.

I don't think he would have worked scaled down sadly, it's not something i would even consider trying with the articulation. More likely a legends soundwave could be made with a bigger chest to store something this size, the Hot Soldiers SWs chest is to small.

Hi, yeah i can share that if it's any help... For the purple i used Tamiya purple(i think its actually called) which is a very usful colour to have for decepticon reasons and also purples and pinks can be a pain to mix so it pays to have a solid purple. So what i did was use a pot of almost finished white Tamiya and dumped a load of drops of purple in it(the purple is quite dark so i didn't want to use it straight) mix it all up until you have something you like(baring in mind the paint will dry a tiny shade darker than it looks in liquid). Using the white as a base to start mixing worked well to try get the shade i was after. Also having it in a pot with a lid meant i could mix enough and keep the colour to do as many coats as i needed. You can also paint a coat decide if you like it and make the changes to the colour for the following coats.

The blue is just what i had(Humbrol brand here in the UK) split with some Tamiya white again.

The silver is Tamiya flat aluminium. I don't really have many comparisons and opionions on silvers and this flat aluminium works for me for the moment.

I’ve wondered on a few occasions how to get to the right color for Rumble and I was really impressed with what you did. So, I really appreciate the info.

    One where RiRFiB. :D

This is awesome. Would this fit in Seige Soundwave's chest? It looks like it would.
