I was unable to find photos of The Takara Transformers Movie Voyager Class Starscream Limited Special Color Version Toshiba Vardia Red (aka Vardia Red Starscream) on the boards or at other websites.
I thought that It would be interesting to open mine to take photos to share with others. The mold has been reviewed many times over, so I will just explain the colors and differences with the Hasbro American releases of the Voyager Starscream family.
Anyone can find a picture of the front of the box, but not the bottom. The label on the bottom appears to be the same as the Japanese Takara Starscream because of the designation MD-08. I do not have the Takara original so I am unable to prove this, but I think that the only difference in the box is the "Limited Special Color Version" sticker on the front.

The toy was a little easier to remove from the packaging than a Thundercracker. Vardia Red had 4 more rubber bands holding it together. The back twist tie holders were also different. The top is the Takara, the bottom is the Hasbro version

Because the light piping is a bright neon green, the eyes can glow more brighter and incredibly well. It is better Deluxe Jazz' light piping (if you do not mind the green):

The paint scheme is virtually identical to the original version, except with different colors. Even the shading on the wings, intake, and vertical stablizers are the same.

In the above photo, the middle Starscream came from the Sam's Club 3 pack with Battle-Damaged Arcee and Optimus Prime. There is a definite variation in terms or more concentrated paint in the certain areas of shading. Norice that the black paint is darker but less spread out.

The Vardia Red Version, however does not have any shading in the upper chest part behind the cockpit as does the original.

I'm a fan of the mold to the point where I'd get it if opportunity knocked... But I won't go looking for it by any means.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the pics! Maybe something is wrong with me, but I really like the mold in those colors. It's like the designers asked themselves, "how red can we go? THIS red!"

I think another reason I like it is that its alt mode resembles one of my favorite Micromasters, Airwave. Bot mode, not so much, but it's all good. :)

Here is a picture of all 5 Voyager Seekers in various poses. Notice the glow in Vardia Red's eyes:

Without the gold, he'd look like a prototype toy.

Awesome light-piping. Only one I have of that mould is Thundercracker, but I'm glad I have him.
