There's a lot of bands the use their mouths(you know what I mean) instead of instruments, and they're quite good at it.
Van Canto has been my favorite band since they were introduced in 2006, I own all three of their albums. Rakkatakka motherf***ers!
I tried to listen to them after I heard them cover Metallica's Battery, but just couldn't get into them.
Their drummer, Bastian is talented as hell! Not only is he the drummer for Van Canto, but he is the lead singer and pianist for the new Metal band "In Legend" What do you get when you take the guitar out of a Metal band, and replace it with a Piano? That was some pretty awful metal. Only Mike Patton can make noises and get away with it because he's a god.
The acapella parts are impressive, but I'm not digging the vocals...uh, the lead vocals...er, the lyrics... I'm questioning whether or not I would have been able to identify that had I not read the title beforehand...
