If your single, what gets you through the day? If your not, do ya use music to heighten the mood? Im single, maybe, so Type O Negative will be spun! I love those guys! Funny and depressing at the same time! If I was in a relationship, a Beatles mixed tape would do nicely. Fab four and the drab four...I must be polar...
The Dethalbum by Dethkolk. Actually I don't listen to much music. When I'm driving its either talk radio or one of my few CDs. I have been listening to the Dethalbum more frequently than anything else.
Is it really that good? What is it compared too? Hopefully early Metallica, Megadeath, Pantera, Slayer, Anthrax.
Normal stuff I always listen to . I often get stuck on a song and play it over and over again. Right now it's "Run" and "Apologize". Oddly enough I played "Run" over and over again while I drew my one VD picture posted over on my non-tf art thread. 9.6 Although it fits, kind of, because the feline is a ghost-guardian thing she can't ever really be with; "even if you can not hear my voice, I'll be right beside you dear." I'm single. But I couldn't care. e.e Would be nice if I didn't bare the grudges that I do. But such is life.
I could see a couple guys from the I hate valentines day thread with Creep by Radiohead on repeat all day..
Pure win right there. My other half is a huge NIN fan so she's open to suggestion with that one Tend not to use music for "mood" - in fact, I think the only time I've ever, um, got intimate with someone with music on was to the "Perseverance" album by Hatebreed... which was kind of odd to be honest, and difficult to keep up with.
I'm single and I don't need anything to help get through the day. I'm content with my current situation and Hallmark Holiday is meaningless to me.
Did you know TPD is actually Trent Reznor's least favourite NIN song? Surprising as it's the fave of many an NIN fan, myself included. I see your The Perfect Drug and raise you the romantic anthem that is Starfuckers Inc.
The Dethalbum by Dethkolk is a good choice. Then again, I don't need need music to get through Valentine's Day. I like music every day!
I second (thirded?) Dethalbum. There's nothing like blasting Hatredcopter and speeding down the road. Mmm I like to put on some Stephen Lynch and since it's Valentine's day Spinal Tap's Big Bottom really sets the mood.
Really wow your girl by putting in the Concerto for Guitar series by Christopher Parkening and Elmer Bernstein. It's just intimate enough to be more than background music but less than an attention-getter.
You Don't Love me Any More by Weird Al. "You slammed my face down on the barbecue grill Now my scars are all healing, but my heart never will" Genius.
