Damn damn damn. If I had known they were going to do this I would have saved my money and not imported the Takara version. I guess I'll end up with two sets of seekers, assuming they do Thundercracker next. I really having the stripes and Decepticon symbols as paint apps rather than decals. Hopefully this can be found in my area.
Skywarp looks great in his G1 colors... I would have gotten him, but I bought both the TakaraTomy MP Skywarp & Thundercracker when HLJ had them on clearance a few months back. It was hard to pass up two MP Seekers for roughly $100 plus shipping.
Damn, I would've been all over that for $100. This MP Skywarp will be my first MP. Looking forward to it.
Looks a lot like the Japan edition, though... are the G1 deco stickers native to the Japanese version? I forget now. It'll probably be a notch lower in overall quality (I'm amazed at the difference between my Takara MP Skywarp and my Walmart Starscream), but still a sweet figure at a sweet (we hope) price. zmog
Asda have sold quite a few Walmart exclusives in the last two years so maybe we will get lucky this time. Maybe.
So will Skywarp have the decepticon symbol on nosecone this time. The walmart Starscream was missing that.
Dang. I really wanted one, but the alt mode just isn't as sexy as the all black Takara version. I'll have to pass. Maybe I'll save up for the all-blue Thundercracker that I saw at a store the other day.
Very nice...but I'll stick with my Takara version. For everyone looking to pick it up, enjoy! He's totally awesome!
