I haven't gotten an update on something that was shipped Friday. It still says there isn't any info available on it. I would think there would be some info on where it is right now. Does anyone else usually have this problem?

Give it time. It's Sunday. Things move on Sunday, but they don't update. Could be tomorrow evening or later before you see anything.

If you're talking about delivery confirmation, then yes, that can be hit or miss on the updates. It all depends on if they scan the barcode at each destination stop.

I've had dc#'s not "work" until they were delivered to the recipient.

USPS is delivery confirmation and not tracking. It's nice when they update the info on the site, but sometimes it don't work too well. I had a package shipped out from Washington state and did not see any update until a few days later when the package was accepted into the computers in Michigan. According to the information on the USPS website, it looked as if I had shipped it out from Michigan. Go figure. That was two weeks ago.

USPS is hit and miss on tracking. I have an item from Japan that has been in my house for a couple of weeks, and they're still listing it as in Los Angeles.

I finally got an update. It says it was accepted in Braddock Heights, MD. Anyone know how long it would take to get to Southern Illinois through priority mail?

The DC errors I've ever had were made on the end of the sender doing all the postal stuff from home.

Wait a second, does accepted mean it hasn't been shipped yet? I was reading somewhere that it meant that the Post office obtained it and is going to ship it.
