You are not going to believe what USPS did to me:

On Sunday, Nov. 6th I won a DOTM Deluxe class Darksteel on eBay which was shipped out to be by the seller 3 days later with a tracking number attached.

On the day it arrived at my local USPS Post Office and expected to be delivered to my apartment (Monday, Nov. 14) the "Track & Confirm" page first says Undeliverable as Addressed, then Forwarded. :mad

Which means that some bullshit error/reason, the package was sent back to the seller and now she must ship it to me AGAIN!!! :banghead:

    WHAT THE F***!!! :mad

Might have been the seller who made the mistake, not USPS.

So now USPS is going to take the package and throw it in a furnace at your expense?

Seriously dude, it sucks to have that happen but calm down and have some patience. You'll get your package once you get the address sorted out.

On the plus side, at least you know where it is, rather than having something saying "delivered and signed for" but no sign of the parcel. Once it gets back to the seller, confirm the address with her, and once you're all good, you'll have your Darksteel where he belongs :)

Yeah, that's not the Post Office's fault.

They deliver to the address of their customer's choosing, assuming it follows the proper guidelines involved with an address. Hell, the Post Office probably even did MORE than you think in trying to figure out where the package goes.

I often get Christmas presents to various versions of Columbia Ave...my real street. Columbiana, Columbus, Columbine, Coalmine, etc. (My Aunt doesn't have the best memory, hahaha), and they always find there way to me (sometimes after Christmas, sometimes on time), and that's thanks to the Post Office going above and beyond.

Verify your address to the seller, and make sure it's the right address this time.

I'm waiting for something to come into the mail. It's been 3 to 4 months and nothing.

I have a package that has taken 9days to get to me from Matty that I still havn't got yet on a replacement so I know what ya mean. I know its a replacement but I'm not to concerned cause I know I will get it but man USPS sure does take forever to ship. Sometimes I think they just throw the package in the back of the warehouse and some poor bastard has to go look for it and then a postman says we will ship it when we feel like it.

Or better, having your big 'ol Pile of Loot delivered to the neighbors, who open it before checking the shipping address. Good times.

I have a similar problem. I bought some stuff on ebay, and it shipped on the 8th. Took it four days to get from California to Cincinnati OH. I'm only an hour south of there, yet it's been 6 days and my package still isn't here.

This exact thing happened to me when I got an Aveo Swerve off of Ebay, but it wasn't the post office's fault. Turns out the seller only put my city and zip code on the box (while he wrote his own, full address twice the size of how he wrote my cramped incomplete address), leaving out my actual street address, so it got to the local post office but because there was no address I almost lost my Aveo. Thank god for trackable shipping I can watch like an obsessive hawk.

What you SHOULD have done was immediately contact the post office and ask for them to locate the package, which should be possible because you have the tracking number. I did this with my Aveo on Saturday morning, still scheduled to be shipped back across the country, and by the afternoon I had him on my shelf.

So, it may not be the USPS's fault, but the seller's, because I'd think it would be hard for the post office to deliver a package when they don't know which house to send it too.

I was more making a joke about neighbors opening your mail than BBTS specifically.

Oh, I got that part. But I mean, that questionable merchandise in my PoL had to come from somewhere, right?
