My buddy recently offered to sell me a used Sega Dreamcast-in relatively good condition- with a few accessories and about a dozen games for just over $100. I'd always wanted to own that system way back in the day. Is it good enough to warrant a purchase, even now?
The systems themselves are going for cheap. Like $20 or so. It's a fun system. What games is he including?
Here's the list: Sonic Adventure Jet Grind Radio Soul Caliber Hydro Thunder Resident Evil: Code Veronica Shenmue Marvel VS. Capcom Quake 3 Arena Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver Spider-Man Crazy Taxi 2 AirForceDelta House of the Dead 2 Maybe I should just buy the games and look for the system at GameStop or somewhere...
From the ones I played: Sonic Adventure, RE:CV, Jet Grind, Shenmue. They are all awesome. I would consider buying it, $100 for the system, accesories and games is a pretty good deal. Plus it is really easy to play emulators on the DC. There is a reason why it has a strong community, despite it being so old and no longer in production.
I'd say go for it. Those games are all A-list titles for the system, except for Air Force Delta, which I'm not so sure of. But if the deal came with VMUs or the 4x memory card, it's a definite buy in my eyes.
dude thats a hell of a deal get it, though for marvel vs capcom if he doesnt have a 6 button contoler then look around for one or if you can find one the arcade stick for the system is awesome
Damn, I sold mine plus 8 games 2 years ago for only $50. Then again, I only paid $5 for it and the big box of toys it was in.
Was I the only one unimpressed and relatively bored with that game? Especially when you couldn't pick up the hooker in the beginning?
