Voted for Jetfire... in the comics he was one of my favorite characters. Still, I'm kind of surprised that Grimlock isn't in the lead instead of Soundwave... heck I expected Devastator to be further out too.

 

The only problem with this is they wont resemble their G1 counterpart. They wont have Soundwave be a tape deck, they wont have ravage be a tape, they wont have shockwave be a laser gun. If I were to vote, I'd go for Ultra Mags or Hot Rod. I think those 2 are the only ones feasable for the movie.

 

I would love to see Grimlock, but I'm not sure that a dinosaur would work in the movie continuity.

I am sure that it would look cool, though.

 

I had a split decision (look at sig), but I chose Shockwave.

Stupid one-click flash voting. I wanted to vote for Devastator but instead voted for the Insecticons. They didn't have the right Insecticon either, it was one of the deluxe that didn't even get featured in the show or comic.

Didnt you know? in the movie universe, everyone is devastator. blackout is devastator, brawl is devastator, and so is ultra magnus.

I felt like also, but they pulled off a giant scorpion, so I could see a movie-aesthetic Grimlock working.

You are all crazy. Devastator is the obvious choice. He is a combiner and he would be awesome on the big screen. Think of the toys!

Use your heads people. Any of those characters could get a movie style toy even if they aren't in the movie except the Constructicons. If they are in the movie, Hasbro would have to make toys.

I voted for Devastator. Combinorz not Tank. Dunno how that's going to work though since Bonecrusher hates Devastator.

 

I picked Grimlock. It would be possible to get him in a dino-esque alternate mode. The other Autobots had to have been on other planets becuase Cybertron was uninhabitable so Grimlock could come to earth from a planet with dinosaur-like creatures. And he could arrive in the middle of a battle so he wouldn't have time to take on an earth mode. And later on in the movie Grimlock could take on a tank mode or whatever if they choose to do that.

 

I voted for Shockwave. I would LOVE to see an actual movie version of him. I know someone did a great fan-concept for his head. I think he would be of use to the movie plot if they showed the Decepticons more in the sequel.

He could start off as the loyal Decepticon as he was in the cartoon, but as the movie progresses becomes more and more convinced that, logically, none of the other 'Cons are suitable for leadership.
