Hmmm.. well the Target stores around here just started getting Sideswipe in around a week ago. It'll probably be another month before they get Skids.

Eh, pass on the HA's. Just bigger and bulkier versions of Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and the Twins.

HA Ratchet and Ironhide? Maybe...

I'm stickin to Legends and RH for the Twins, and I've got a Legends BB and Deluxe Sideswipe. Ratchet and Ironhide, I've got em in Legends. Prime?... McDonalds. But enough about my stuff... there's a thread for that.

I'll have to keep my eyes out at work after I get paid next weekend, Skids, Mudflap, and Barricade are the only HA figures I want.

I don't know why people still think they're going to make a HA Ironhide & Ratchet. The figures are 1/24th scale, and Ironhide & Ratchet would be far too big to fit at that price range.

My guess is they picked and modified Ratchet for an internal pitch only, to sell the idea to the marketing guys.

If you look at the movie toys, you'll find only a select few of them were able to be slightly altered to fit a little character inside, most toys have the way obstructed by folded up limbs, so they probably picked Ratchet for that reason.

Besides, the Ratchet makes no sense for Human Alliance, since the way the voyager toy works, he can't open the door, he takes half of the side with it, while the catch of HA is that it's a more accurate car with opening doors and steering wheel.

And I don't think Hasbro wants to release a HA Ratchet when it's not inscale with the other HA figures, and is just the voyager mold modified (funny enough, the HA human characters are more inscale with voyager Ratchet than the current HA robots, otherwise they wouldn't fit into the cars  )

Don't expect to see a HA Ratchet soon.

 

I think someone mentioned that was more of a "Proof od Concept" rather than an actual prototype.

 

Correct. Was confirmed as a mock up to show how the concept would work.

 

Figured this couldn't be too far off if BBTS has them in stock. The HA subline seems to be selling pretty well in my area, but stores are beginning to get saturated with BB and with more BB shipping with Skids, I could see Skids being a bit harder to find. I'll have to keep my eyes open.

 

Seems a bit soon, but it'll probably be a month or 2 until he's seen in my area.
