Upgrades for Power of the Primes (Shapeways)

In here is where I'll post up links for all the Power of the Primes related
3D printed items you can get from Shapeways. Click on and have fun!

Weapon Accessories for POTP Battletrap

This set consists of a double barrelled blaster and a sword. My intent is to have the set be
usable not only for Battletrap, but for Roadtrap and Battleslash as well.




That is why I chose to have the blasters split in two to allow both smaller bots to
have something to arm themselves with in alt modes. Of course, this means that Battleslash gets
only one barrel for his front mounted arsenal, but I think it fits him better proportionally.





I have received many suggestions to create a propeller that can be reconfigured
to be a sword, but I erred on the side of simplicity and decided to have a proper
looking sword that resembles his card art. This sword can be stowed under Battleslash's
alt mode tail, or on Battletrap's back using his rear storage peg.





G1 Styled Swords for POTP Dinobots

Who doesn't think these new dinobots are lacking in the accessory department?
These swords are closely based on their G1 renditions and are absolutely
indispensable when you're looking to update your dinobot collection.




Sword for voyager Grimlock. 124mm in length, stores on shoulder kibble and on Dino's back.




Sword for deluxe Slug. Comes in half and full cross guard variants. 76mm in length.




Sword for deluxe Swoop. Attaches onto Titan Master pegs for storage. 76mm in length.



Sword for deluxe Snarl. 81mm in length.



Sword for deluxe Sludge. Measures 81mm in length.


Add-ons for Voyager Starscream


Almost everyone had issues with Starscream's feet, thus I made new ones for him.
These new feet are slimmer, wrap tightly around his combiner port and are based off
his feet design in G1. Colour shown in the photos is Shapeways blue dye, so I guess
you'll need to paint them yourself closer to match.

These new null-rays are designed to fill the awkward gap between his upper arms and the
stock accessories. They come with a outward swivel to allow them to accommodate his
chunky forearms, and they peg in real nice and sleek in his alt and combined modes.

Blasters for Dreadwind and Blackwing





Pretty self explanatory. Replacement blasters for POTP Dreadwind and Blackwing that harkens
closely to their original accessories. These can also peg together into double barreled
heavy blasters like before!




I've also done a variant of Blackwing's blasters to allow him and Dreadwind to
combine into their superset form more securely.







Blaster for voyager Hun-grr


It seems a pity that the entire Terrorcon team gets to have their little pewpew
blasters except for Hun-grr. This little item solves it!
Measuring a respectable 114mm long, the accessory comes with extra 5mm ports to mount
all the blasters of the combiner team.

Nice! Can't wait to get my hands on the Decepticon Powermasters and add these to their arsenal  

 

I might need to consider that Starscream now. Excellent job with the upgrades!

 

I want to see someone can do a TLK Infernicus upgrade set for POTP Abominus, but maybe not from you. I don't want to stress you out.

 

Those SS Upgrades are fricking amazing!

Something for the Dinobots...

 

Those look awesome, very FOC, but what about G1 toy weapons?

 

I see tabs where they might be able to combine into a mega-sword for Volcanicus.

Eventually I'll get around to my own version.

 

he's already got them up on his shapeways, these combine into something for Volcanicus while the g1 ones don't. (he said as much on his facebook page.)

Updated the first post with a bunch of images and links, but I want to use this post to highlight that yes, you can store Grimlock's sword on his dino back.
Also, version 2.0 of his sword is upsized and absolutely MASSIVE compared to the first release. As befitting his stature.

 

Both, sets look good..don't know which way to go...

 

I'm a little surprised you aren't advertising your awesome G1 Styled Missiles for POTP Swoop by fakebusker83 on Shapeways
They came out amazing!
I ordered in WSFP (I was concerned the BHDA, FUD, or metallic prints might be too fragile/brittle on the clip connector).
