    Definitely hyped for this figure.

One thing I wondered a couple of days ago though...if Hasbro allows 3 leader molds a year, and 2010 will be fully ROTF related..will we get 2 other molds? Maybe Blackout/Grindor?

Don't want to make people all hyped for nothing..but seeing as Grindor had a more prominent role in ROTF...

Normally I'm a bit fed up with people that continuously bitch about a leader class Blackout..:lol

I would say that it would be more likely that we would get Prime and Megatron repaints to go along with that Starscream. Hopefully, they retire the Leader Jetfire mold permanently!

Leader class Grindor? Screw that, make him a SUPREME! You guys see how big that mo'fo' was in the forest fight scene? Christ he's like 46 feet tall. Which makes sense because the sikorsky pave low is 92 feet.

Other than that, I'd break into Hasbro HQ and steal that prototype of LC Screamer :D

I wouldn't get your hopes up for Leader Starscream now...If it was slated for fall 2010, and the new movie is coming only 6 to 9 months after that...

the leader figure will be scrapped and made for the TF3 movie...so we may still get it but it will be for summer 2011...the wait is on!!!

I doubt that greatly. The last we saw he was a grey resin proto, and that was a LONG time ago. He's probably much farther along now. The next movie's release date wouldn't have any impact on his release anyway.

Stupid question, but what is that Blackout in the picture?

Fan custom or something? Image capture from the game? I don't remember a robot replica of him (although I don't pay much attention to those things).

It looks like a nicely done toy here, but if there was such a production toy, it would have been huge news.

As far as LC SS goes, I really hope we get him.

But between the extremely late release date, and the lack of further news I have been quite pessimistic for a while (it certainly wouldn't be the first tformer prototype not to see release).

It's a big ticket item, and those never sell that well. On top of that by late next year ROTF toys very well may be starting to get the clearance treatment.

It hardly seems like the time to be trying to release an expensive new mold (unless it ends up being an exclusive somewhere- at which point it may suddenly become an $80 after market toy for all but the luckiest of us anyhow- depending on the chain and how it's handled).

I'm suspicious it's best chance for wide scale release will be as a leaderclass from TF3.

    I hope I'm wrong.

It looks sort of like a custom- those feet remind me a lot of Voyager Megatrons...

But if that's for real, I just shit my pants.

EDIT: Nevermind. Those feet are 2007 Megatron's, the gun arm is Breakaway's, and the copter blade is Sideswipe's.
