It's good to finally see which Cyclonus is the production version (wasn't sure there for a while which one we would be getting). It's good to know we'll be getting the mostly purple Nightstick. I'll probably get Him and some of the others that I plan to get with money I get this Christmas.

Oh snap, there was a loose Starscream on display at the booth where Koff got his loose Blazing Lockdown. You could have given him a little scratch and sniff.  

 

Good lord, that Cyclonus looks beautiful.

Man, I used to make fun of the Universe line. But now it is the shit. Please Hasbro, let's have another couple years of this stuff, hmmmm?

That is my plea too, but I've read that it's been announced that once ROTF premieres, the TFU line is going on hold to make way for ROTF toys. Hopefully Takara keeps it up with Henkeis  

 

I don't mind if the line goes on hiatus to make way for the Movie merchandise, AS LONG AS it returns after the excitement of the movie toys has died down. That way, my wallet can take a breather....

 

Blockbuster franchises often come in 'trilogies' nowadays, so I pretty much expect another hit of Universe to pad out the distance between movies 2 and 3. After that, who knows.

 

Yeah, same here... it's only a bit of paint difference, right?

Anyway I'm stoked about Hound and Cyclonus!!!

 

I'll just get Cyclonus and maybe Hound.

LOL! Yes, I'm really counting on this too. After Christmas shopping has broken me. Not to mention no one in my family or friends being hip enough to pick up an TFs for me! Grr...

Far as I'm concerned, Hound and Cyclonus are ALREADY in my collection! These two and Animated Swindle are must haves for me.

Everyone is drooling over Ravage, which is all good and accurate enough, but to me the updated Nightstick is an awesome pack-in! (Must find a proper rifle for Hound though.)

Oh, and more G1 Robot Heroes!

One minor complaint- Cyclonus' legs look a bit spindly in that box art pic. But that's liveable.

One whiny, admittedly unoriginal fanboy complaint- so we get this one-episode wonder Acid Storm and then ANOTHER Starscream in this mold in mass retail. But Hasbro feels Skywarp is only worthy of a store exclusive(in a multi-pack with typical "white Optimus" Ultra Magnus no less!) and Thundercracker as a 'con exclusive!

 

Hound and Cyclonus are a buy from me!
