A few months ago, Powered Convoy posted a Wal*Mart listing that contained a mystery entry for TRA RO3 CYBERTRON - 81155 (Description is "TRA CYB MEGA"). Randy initially speculated that this entry might have been for Quickmix, but I pointed ou that the "R" in "R03" means "redeco".

Additionally, I had seen a Japanese listing a while ago that listed "Mega R03" as "Scavenger".

A few weeks after that, all of Powered Convoy's listings were found listed on Wal*Mart's public website.

Recently, Entertainment Earth put up a new preorder for wave 7 of the Cybertron Voyager Class, which included a listing for "Vector Prime".

Now, the Wal*Mart entry for "Mega R03" includes a bio for Vector Prime... which appears to indicate that the mystery entry is indeed a repaint of Vector Prime.

On a related note, another mystery entry for "Armor Scattershot" is now featuring a bio for Quickmix...

What happened to the assumption that this would be Sunstorm, based on the LOC?

I'll be the first to ask - who here remembers the Hasbro proto of VP in the Galaxy Force colors? Because I do... :)

I assume "Armor Scattorshot" was an old working name, or just an incorrect name or whatever.

Sidecutter insists that it was a normal Hasbro VP, just under bad lighting that made it look like the GF version.

REpaint for vector Prime for sure? It'd be awesome if it were in alpha trion colors. If not, and its just a reissue, at least I can get him(haven't bought him yet).

Sounds like a weak explanation to me, but I never saved the pics.

Food for thought, though - in the upcoming TF Attacktix toyline, Vector Prime has two color schemes, Hasbro and Takara versions. Even the smaller color details are retained from each of the versions.

Howso? We currently have toys confirmed up until August, with rumored repaints up until October.

And the Classics line is supposed to come out around October.

VP repaint huh? Here's hoping for either the GF version or an Alpha Trion toy finally.

I know I may be fed to the Sharticons for saying this, but I think some kind of dark, nemesis VP would be kinda cool, but done differently than Scourge/Nemesis Prime. Just my two cents.

Actually that is a really cool idea. Too bad a good mold suffers from floppy rubber plastic.

Or you could get one whose sword hilt could snap in his fist, rendering both fist and sword useless.
