Hi guys, I mentioned in the Radicon meet'n'greet thing that I was working on a big can sculpture of Devastator. Which I've started calling my can sculptures of TF's Canformers(a no brianer I know) So yeah, I started this afternoon and worked for I'd say....3/4 hours on him so far, you can see I have the frame done and I've got Mixmaster completed for the leg there. I hope you all like him. I'll keep ya' posted as I work more on this. I'm off to the store to buy more glue(I used the rest of mine today. lol) I threw in the Picture of my Classics Sideswipe there for comparison He's about 14 inches now, that's just the top of the frame.

Comments and Crits welcome as always.

**Updated with new photos of the other leg.**

Is "experience" a euphemism for "thick gloves"? :p

I love this stuff. I think it's fantastic that you don't even paint these things, but just rely on the already-printed colours of the cans. Do you guys have Vimto over there? 'Cause that'd be great for large quantities of purple... :D

I was thinking the same thing. When I saw your other cansformers from the "Show yourselves" thread, I was immediately like holy crap people get cut up all the time working on blocky plastic pieces, this guy HAS to bleed. I actually zoomed in on the sculpts to see if I could see any blood you missed.

Cryoprime is my bro and he doesn't ever get cut working on these things and he also doesn't wear thick gloves either. He just has EXP.

Man, I am just AMAZED at your work! That Prime is insane! And so was the Shockwave... I can't wait to see this guy finished! You may have already answered this in another thread (surely someone's asked) but if you don't mind my asking again, how did you get into this? Are you some kind of origami prodigy and decided one day to just "kick it up a notch"?

I wish I was an origami prodigy :lol , but no actually I was in an Independant Study of Sculpture last year in my senior year of High School. I needed a new series of projects and we had a lot of Halo3 Gamefuel cans lying around and I made a series of Dragons, and beasts for class and I ended up getting some in a show. Then my friend Cody(seaspray4tf3) and I collaborated on a huge one! and we won a city wide art contest. Then I made a mecha based one I called Aero-01 and Gaia-02 and then was like wait a minute...... I need to make Transformers. So I did! I made the RID Prime and now I pretty much make on Canformers. I might make another dragon later. So yeah, the evolution of Canformers. hahaha:lol

Edit: ps. I got more glue. The sculpturing can comense! :rock

Probably one of the most unique artistic interpretations of Transformers I've ever seen.

    Your work is incredable.
