    Hey everyone,

I realized when looking through my parts box a couple days ago that NONE of the customs I have are finished...so I decided to do something about it...I've gotten three ready for the painting stage, they're all relatively clean and have been primered. I think Im going to start with this one. Here's the original WIP thread I did.

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/232624-wip-shiftlock-reworked-barricade-mold.html

I'm taking Redline's advice and am planning on doing all the car brothers, this is now Sideburn, and I think Im going to paint him in his red colours rather than the blue, and minus the giant flaming deco...

Since the original thread I filled in the holes in the roof, and the gap in the hood..Im having some fitment issues with the head that I hadn't noticed previously, so this head might not be the final one. I'm planning to update some of my other wips that have been ignored until now..lol
(have a darkwing/dreadwind set Im doing..darkwing is already primered)

    as always c&c is welcomed.

I used parts from a Radio Shack Xmods Mustang Body kit to fix the front end on my Barricade/Eleanor mod really helps fill in the front end and get away from the cop grill front end look. I really like what you did with the rear car panels I never even thought of fixing them to his legs, brings an almost tf universe look to him.

Congratulations on making this mold look good. I didn't think it was possible but I stand corrected. Very nice.

I am shocked and amazed- in a good way. I was considering doing something different with my own Barricase and wrote it off because of how drastically different they are made.

You have shown me that it can be done. Bravo!

I go over some of the heavy Mods section and see what others have come up. I don't open all threads, and even if i do, i don't usually post any reply. HOWEVER, this modification drew my attention. So, here are my opinions and observations:

    1) Good use with the hands. I hate that Barricade set that came with it.
    2) Yes, the rear door panels that you did is excellent.
    3) Good Primering. Really consistent preparation. I always believe that it takes more time to prepare for you to have an all around good paint finish.
    4) The Saleen Alt mode is a beautiful mold. Thanks to you, this figure get's a much better robot mode compared to Barricade.
    5) Lastly, I'd like to know your color choices for the paint. IF you ever did mention on the first part of this thread, my apologies. IN any case, i'd still like to know your combination.
Would love more TLC with the interior robot parts,ie: copper or bronze colored joints like ROTF Prime.

Will keep an eye on this Work in Progress and see how it's going on .

Thanks alot man, Im glad people are seeing that the barricade mold wasn't as bad as it seemed after all. I was planning on painting the alt mode red, and robot parts silver/copper/black/gold. I might paint the alt mode bronze though. A neighbour a couple doors down from me actually owns this the Saleen mustang in a bronze/copper colour, and its beautiful.

Wow, great job so far. He looks like he could pass for a Universe or a movie toy.

Does the waist swivel on this mold? If so would it be possible to swap the lower legs around (so that what is currently the "back" of the lower legs would now be the "front")
