Ah heck let's face it Charlotte is the Rodney Dangerfield of southern cities. No matter how much the city grows, the size of it's buildings, having a pro-football team, and everything else we still have to take the backseat to Atlanta just because Sherman didn't burn down Charlotte.

 

I will probably see the showing in Novi, Michigan (It says Detroit but it's actually in the city of Novi which is pretty nice)

  Can't wait for ROTF less than two months to go!

You know, I wonder, What if its the actual movie?

Think about it. a few weeks ago there was a event that took place in Austin, Texas where the people, Who thought they were gonna see Star Trek 2: The Wrath Of Khan with some footage from the new Star Trek movie on the big screen, Instead they ended up watching the full Star Trek movie by surprise.

So what if this is a clever ruse for an early premiere of the actual sequel?

Paramount orchestrated the previous event.

 

I don't know 20 cities seems a bit big for the event. Star Trek seemed to work because it was only one place and the focus was on the fans in that one city, in 20 cities it seems like the attention would be a little too spread out.

Plus Bay is the type of director that likes to tweak until the very last minute so I don't know if all the GCI, effects and editing would be polished up enough to give a full showing of the film at it's finished best.

Nah, it wouldn't be cost effective to do it. Besides if it turns out to be a crapfest, the folks who did see it, could sink the ship for the rest of us. They're not willing to take a risk like Fox had with Wolverine where everyone's pretty much panned it.

Besides, I doubt Bay would be willing to let them show it this soon, besides he's still doing voicework last I heard, so it's impossible that it could be ROTF.

I wouldn't be surprised if they showed segments of it though.

 

This will ruin it for everyone who doesn't go though.

That Orlando one is 15-20 minutes from me. I emailed the contact for more info. I assume it costs $, but who knows?

 

Will it be shown in Aust on the same day or is it just in the U.S
