This is good news. My original will never come out of the packaging again.

WHAT THE HELL are you thinking Hasbro? Booooooo. Give me die-cast or give me death!

Errr.... well guess I'll have to be happy with the 6" Titaniums. Oh well. At least I'm homing tak will get the MP-04 right. Yeah right. Oh well back to playing with my original 20th with long stacks.

    WHAT????

    No Chrome (or very little)
    Plastic
    Short Stacks

    ...Still the same price...

    WHY????

I was considering getting one of these to kitbash, but $79.00 is just a bit too much.

Now hold on...I remember when we got pics of 20th Anniversary Prime, and he had the little white card with the retail price, and it said $99.99

When he came out...behold...Walmart for $68.99

So now they are saying retail $79.99...which means Walmart will have it for like $50. Thats awesome.

Of course Hasbro is going to LOWER the price. The fans aren't going to be floating the bill this time. Kids will be after they buy their Transformers the Movie DVD, and see how cool G1 Prime is!

For the same reason, I agree with Hasbro removing the chrome andthe die-cast. Kids don't need this...we do. And we already had a chance of getting that.

Sorry for those of you who don't have a Walmart. I NEVER saw 20th Prime at TRU or Target...but I imagine the TRU price will be $79.99 since they love suggested retail prices. Target will probably be a few dollars more than Walmart.

Funny to see people whining about the same price and then seeing the same people spending shitloads of money weekly on inferior TFs. NONSENSE.

I'm surprised, to say the least...one of the things I really liked about my 20th Prime was that he was diecast...he had some HEFT to him.

Yeah, $79 is way too much for a no-metal, castrated, badly painted version. I think they're going to have a hard time moving these at that price and they'll end up going on clearance for $30 like the last time...I think $39 would have been a good price for this version. Hmm. Sorry to all the people who missed him the first time.
