Okay, so wave 6 (Cheetor and Fallen) is in stock at US online retailers, so the first mass retail sighting shouldn't be far off.

Following that, we have a wave with War Within Ultra Magnus (Optimus Prime repaint) and War Within Sunstorm (Starscream repaint), and one wave with G1 Ultra Magnus (original mold) and one with War Within Megatron (original mold).

Now, the question is, which wave comes first?

    1) All four toys were first shown by Hasbro at BotCon 2006.

    2) The display cards from BotCon gave a tentiative "May 2007" release date for TWW Magnus and Sunstorm. G1 Magnus and WW Megatron had no display cards.

    3) The profiles for the four toys we got back in December came in a single batch (although WW Magnus and Sunstorm are listed before G1 Magnus and WW Megatron).
    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=118851

    4) The catalog scan we got last month is also inconclusive.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/BTF...iumcatalog2.jpg
It does, however, list five new toys, namely "Soundblaster with Ravage", "Prowl", "Primal Prime", "Grimlock" and "Skywarp".

    5) BBTS is now taking preorders for all four toys (Magnus, Magnus, Sunstorm and Megatron), but gives a tentiative "April 2007" release date for all four toys.

    6) Thus far we've seen test shots of both War Within Ultra Magnus and G1 Ultra Magnus.

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=124154

    7) Amazon.com lists Ultra Magnus (product code number 33977) and Megatron (product code number 33978), so I assume it's G1 Magnus and he and War Within Megatron are wave 7, with War Within Magnus and Sunstorm being wave 8.

    8) FINALLY, Entertainment Earth confirms it. 2007 Wave 4 is G1 Magnus/Megatron with a tentitative "April 2007" release date, and 2007 Wave 5 is Magnus/Sunstorm with a tentitative "May 2007" release date.

Ti (g1) Magnus has apparently already been sighted at an import store here.

Im trying to find out if it was packaged or not, but the shop in question doesn't usually sell test shots.

The fact that neither (WW) Magnus not Sunstorm were mentioned would perhaps hint at what order they're being released....

The Product code system for 6 inch Tis seems to lack continuity though, anybody got product codes for WW Magnus and Sunstorm?

    Wave 1
    WW Prime 33907
    Megatron 33908

G1 Magnus is going to look awesome on my desk here and on my desk back home. I'm looking forward to that one the most, but Soundblaster is something I plan on getting. That is, if I can find 6" Titaniums anywhere, 'cause they don't seem to stock them in Massachusetts (unless you count Waves 1-3, which they ended at). I really wanted Soundwave, too....

Interesting. I assumed wrongly that Sunstorm and WW Magnus came out first, THEN G1 Magnus and WW Megatron. I think I based that on the order in which they showed up for pre-order on BBTS. Thanks for clearing that up! Guess I better go order G1 Magnus and Megatron....

    Ebay:
WW Magnus and Sunstorm. BBTS had them up for preorder first.

And thus the trend continues... Almost all waves of Titanium 6" I've only wanted one figure of, even if I like both there's only one that really want.

Considering I haven't even seen wave four show up in my area yet, aren't we jumping the gun a bit? Then again I guess the blessing of the Internet is also it's curse. We get to know what toys are coming out months to a year in advance and then we wait for them to come out...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait...and wait... That's why I finally just ordered my Titanium Rodimus online. My guess would be we see "no repaint" Magnus and WWI Megs around June just before the movie toys come out.

There may be gaps, but it's still an incremental product code from one wave to the next.

Unless Hasbro decided to change that, getting product codes for WW Magnus and Sunstorm is going to make things clearer.

I've just been told that G1 Ti Magnus is in package, but he has it on hold until next week when he's back from holiday.

So unless Hasbro have changed the way they assign product codes to Titaniums, WW Magnus and Sunstorm probably have product numbers somewhere around there.

The Transformers Collectors' Club, in its "Members Only" section, has in-package pictures of G1 Magnus and WWI Megatron, but not WWI Magnus or Sunstorm. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, of course, just throwing that out there as well.

I was pretty sure that after G1 Rodimus Prime, WW Starscream & WW The Fallen, that WW Ultra Magnus & WW Megatron were the next 'official' wave. But that theory got blown to hell once BBTS put up pre-orders for those two along with WW Sunstorm & G1 Ultra Magnus, indicating that all four will be available at the same time in April. Maybe Hasbro decided to expand the next wave to four characters as opposed to just two...?

All that does seem obvious at this point is that those four characters are what's definitely next, whether they're all released at the same time or separated into two groups of two. Thereafter, I believe it's supposed to be WW Grimlock & WW Skywarp, either released at the same time as or right before G1 Soundblaster and Prowl (who hasn't yet been confirmed to be WW or G1).

As I said in my initial post, Entertainment Earth has G1 Magnus/WW Megs as the earlier wave, and WW Magnus/Sunstorm as the later wave. And a 6" Titanium case only contains three toys.

Speaking of upcoming Titaniums...what happened to the 3" line? It seems like its been a long while since the waves with Rodimus/Thundercracker and Galvatron/Battle Damaged Prime came out. Shouldn't Sunstreaker and Cliffjumper have been out by now?

My opinion is...it don't matter none too much. By the time I found Rodimus and Soundwave...they were on the shelf with Starscream and RiD Prime. Or at least, I came across the RiD/Starscream/Rodimus case, and found Soundwave right after that at another WM. Haven't seen any of the 4 again since.

Dunno why they switched to this 3/case crap. Seems like as long as each wave is 2 new figs, shipping a case of four with both figs in the current and previous wave, like they did initially, makes the most sense. $15 says the lingering wave 4 figure in the wave 5 case isn't G1 Magnus because they won't want two of the same character in a case of 3.

Galvatron/Battle Damage Prime came out in December. BBTS has Cliffjumper and Sunstreaker listed for February. Oddly, Entertainment Earth doesn't have them listed at all yet.
