The Galaxy Force Prime name is really clever, and a great nod to the japanese series.

The repaint looks alot better the more I see of it, still on the fence though....

Kickass! Nice nod to its japanese counterpart series. Of course, I'm kind of on a "one mold, repaint OR original" thing. I want this so badly, but I already have Cybertron Prime. Should I have two of these, or just stick with the one I got?

Passing. There's just not enough incentive to buy it again.

I wish Prime was these colors in the show's final episodes. I'd have more impetus to pick this up. Very nice, but I'm passing too.

Oh man, I wish they had done that the first time. I love my optimus, but I simply can't think of a reason to give him up, even if the repaint looks better. err, anyone wanna by a slightly used Cyb. Prime?

thanks hasbro for finally painting the force chip you cheap bastards.

Looks nice...that boxart is awesome! I won't be getting it, but it does look much nicer than I originally thought it would.

Yes! Something else to blow $40 on as well as something else to clog the shelves, so I can't find the figs. I actually want! Woo-hoo! (I'm passing for sure, can you tell?)

Ugh, I hope not. It's dumb enough that the Japanese cling to that name, I don't want it over here too! It's like Lucky Draw and a million black and teal repaints... maybe they like it there, but it's lame and I wouldn't want it over here.

Well, the name is a really nice touch, as is "Transformers Leader." The new force chip looks cool, too (and it's just unfortunate we didn't get such nice paint apps on the original).

But, to be honest, there are so many paint apps lacking on the figure that I want to say that it looks more like a test shot than an actual figure. I mean, I KNOW it's the real deal, but...the poor coloring of it makes it look really cheap. Sorry.

The name is a nice nod. I ALMOST like the repaint, but all the red just isn't different enough from the original, and there isn't enough to break up the black bits. I'll buy it on sale if I ever find it.

The name is so cool. And finally gold on the key! But they left his mouthplate down. :(  He's a little heavy on the red, but very hot. The GF wank is enough to make me want him, but I don't have space for a 3rd. Maybe I can sell my original?

That's a nice nod to Takara. The recolor is not bad at all, and the force chip looks nice. I might fork over the $40 if lloks just as nice in person.

Damn it. They always do this to me. I hate buying repaints, it's a waste of money to buy a toy twice. I bought Energon Megatron... they made a superior Galvatron. I bought Cybertron Megatron, they made a superior Galvatron. I bought Cybertron Prime, they made a super cool "Galaxy Force" Prime. Man, what do I do? Should I sell off my Cybertron leaders so I can buy the new Prime and Galvatron? I wish they'd just make the cool one the first time around.

Hasbro's Hot Rod homage repaint of Hot Shot did it first, but I too like that they are continuing that habit.

Already have the first one and like it better anyway, but as obligatory repaints go it's not bad.

I like it, seems to have a darker hue of red to him, and love the gold accents. And the box art.:)  But, I doubt if he's worth buyiing again...unless I see him in clearance at a KB sometime next year.:p
