I like him as Cosmos because it pays homage to the wheel *and* special arm with that Payload repaint.

 

Not quite. It was shown in BWII that the Autorollers had the same bodies in the past before becoming protoforms and then resuming as Autorollers again.

And to be even more picky, the whole Car Robots-into-Japanese G1 retcon showed that the protoforms that became Black Convoy and the Combatrons also were once Cybertrons.

Eh honestly Botanica from PRID Soundwave would be a much much higher want then any of these guys. Actually toss Geckobot from BH Wheeljack/Prid Wheeljack and Jawbreaker from BH Ratchet ahead of these guys as well. Dinobot and Rattrap aren't bad. Blackarachnia is okay, but that Galvatron is just a terrible terrible idea.

I really wish Botanica had been done as well...not big on Beast Era as a whole but love me some Femme-formers...fir that same reason I would have grab Blackarachnia from Chromia...

 

Interesting idea and I think it could work to reimagine Beast Wars/ Beast Machine cast. Maybe for Botcon.

Armada Starscream to Beast Machine Jetstorm for example.

 

Probably would've jumped on that Dinobot.

It boggles my mind that they passed over ideas like this yet gave the go ahead on sets like Pirates vs. Knights or Cybertron's Most Wanted.

 

I am referring specifically to BW here and to crew of the Axalon in BW. BW2 takes places thousands of years after the future in BM/BW. In my view what it does really doesn't apply here. Plus like I said we already know there are protoforms with past lives specifically Rampage. But the writers of the BW show have said previously that the other protoforms were blanks in terms of life history and used as a potential crew for the Maximals.

 

I would have bought two copies of each of these... It's a shame the club's over. I kinda hope whoever takes over next does a few Funpub ideas like these.

 

I mean, pretty much all of these except for BA got used in the Beast Wars: Uprising fiction. (which has been established in the latest TFCC mag as an alternate universe where Primal failed to merge OP's spark into his body and the original BW Maximals and Predacons ceased to exist as a result.)

 

These are awesome, maybe in the future they'll be made.

It pisses me off that we didn't get any of this and ended up with that awful Tripedacus.

In it's final year, FP drops the ball again and again.

Hopefully somebody will release that Dinobot from Springer someday.

 

You have to remember that they were forced by Hasbro to use Combine Wars figures this year.
