Hey, quick question. I recently sold a TF on ebay and got an unsigned Money order in the mail as payment. It's not signed.

Obviously, this is as good as cash, but should I send it back for the buyer's sig or simply sign it in her name? Is this considered forgery???

I asked the buyer what they wanted to do but have not yet received an answer.

I'd just sign your name, or if you prefer, have someone else sign it (as them), and then cash it. That way, it's still good, but not forgery.

I don't think the forgery think would be a major issue, but that way, you're completely in the clear.

What kind of weird money order requires the buyer's signature? All those I've mailed and received just have name & address fields and sometimes one for stating the purpose of the MO. In any case, yeah, just fill it out the info yourself.

As long as the buyer is not in Nigeria, and didn't send you a money order for more than the amount, asking you to send him the balance back.
