I had plans for a comic long before i made this account. I want to make SOMETHING, but don`t expect any strips yet. (and i`m not yet 100% sure about how to post pictures, could someone help me with that?)

What website would you like to use? There are websites like Photobucket, Imageshack etc.

Oh and btw, this thread will probably get closed if you don't put anything up.

Grab the image code (sorry you'll have to ask an Imageshack user) and post. I don't know if you have to add anything else.

I'd recommend Imageshack, at least over Photobucket. Photobucket has the bandwidth limit thing, and if it exceeds the limit ALL of your pictures go bye-bye until they reset your bandwidth.

Basically to post a picture you go to reply to a message and then look on the toolbar for a picture of a sun and mountain:

You'll have to put each image URL in one at a time, but that's how you post an image.

If you're using Imageshack to host your comic pictures, then you simply upload your comic pictures onto Imageshack and then when you get ready to post an update to your comic strip here, all you have to do is copy the IMG code for forums and paste them -- one by one -- into your post and hit reply. Viola! Your comic is posted to be viewed by all.

However, if you don't have a comic ready, then why did you even bother starting a thread for one? It's most likely going to get closed or deleted since there's no actual comic posted in the thread.

Start a comic thread when you have an actual comic ready to post. Don't start threads for a comic that you haven't even started on yet.

I dont know if its just photobucket, but all I have to do is copy the IMG code, and paste it, the picture automatically appears without wrapping it in url.

Depends on what site you use. Some have it wrapped in IMG codes already, some don't. I know photobucket does it automatically for you. Flickr used to, and it still does, but now you have to hunt for it in a bunch of other code. Basically, after you upload, if the code for the pic has [IMG]

I'll leave the thread open as long as comics appear soon. :)

I use Imageshack for hosting. Upload the pictures, then copy and paste the image link into the forum. Easy as pie.
