By the end of BM, Megatron was the only extremist. Primal already saw the error of his ways in the beginning of Season 2.

And thus a flatter character. In BM he had a vision, a particular set of beliefs that set him apart from the heroes aside from just "Megatron bad, Maximals good". Having him accept organics wouldn't make him unique anymore, he'd be just like Primal only "evil". And reverting him back to his frame of mind during the Beast Wars would merely be a step backwards.

I'd rather not have him resurrected at all then to be honest. Megatron's death at the end of BM was quite satisfactory.

 

Universe Primal was not the best toy ever, but I would have liked a Universe Megatron to be his counterpart. Razorclaw was neat, but no Megatron. Every Optimus Primal has a Megatron except Universe Optimus Primal.

 

For that matter, Universe had an Optimus Primal and more than one Optimus Prime (if you consider the Yellow RiD Fire Truck and the G1-colored Spychanger Scourge seperately) - yet no Universe Megatrons I'm aware of.

 

I would have bought it! The colour scheme is really cool...makes the toy looks good...I guess I prefer my dragons "red".

I don't know, everytime I look at that picture, I see Cybertron Scourge.

 

He would likely return as an anti-hero of sorts. He would be extreme in his methods, but would serve Primus. Think of a cop who likes to beat criminals a little too much.
