Howdy yall, long time no post. Recently I was reading up on Wikipedia and came across a little bit of information and an accompaning picture; seen below: Source: Allspark.com "Transformers: Universe Megatron (unreleased) A proposed exclusive for a future BotCon, this Megatron would have been a remolded version of Transformers: Robots in Disguise Megatron in the colors of Megatron's transmetal dragon body, with a new headsculpt based on Megatron's traditional head design (as well as remolded dragon heads) and a new accessory in the form of his famous rubber duck. Although the toy never materialised due to 3H Enterprises' loss of the licence to the convention, the appearance of Megatron's glowing eyes within shadow in the Transformers: Universe comic books was intended to foreshadow the figure. " Now that's one exclusive I would have bent over backwards for. It just works out perfectly and why did Hasbro not go through with this masterpiece is beyond me. The story is behind this is also compelling. Last time we saw BM Megs he was a Nietzche-esque TF bent on purging Cybertron of any organic stain. He was duking it out with Optimus Primal as Optimal Optimus' body in ironic fashion as one of the best TF duels of all time. At the end, both fell into the core of the planet and thus, Primal's organic and Megs' mechanical influences merged and spawn a new golden age for Cybertron, transforming it into its transorganic state. So the question would arise how Megs returned first of all, then why he returned as a two headed dragon (and just about every other form under the sun) being organic without his 'purged' state? But not just how, more importantly to the questions, why? And if Hasbro went through with the figure, would you have gotten it? Or should they still go through with it?
