Arrow isn't the best superhero/ comic book show on tv. I find the show to be similar to porn without the dirty x rated stuff because there is bad acting and that is because the cw rather have attractive actors and actresses over good quality actors. The walking dead has became a parody of the comic books. Game of thrones is highly over rated but it isn't a bad show. Agents of shield gets to much crap because it had a slow and crappy first half of season 1.
This I agree with. Most people still act like it is one of the worst shows on TV when it is getting pretty good. If you gave up on it in its first few episodes or even after the pilot, you really can't judge the whole series. Of course it isn't for everyone, and it's ok not to like it, but it is wrong to say it's that bad.
- I have no interest in watching Breaking Bad. Not a comment on it's quality one way or the other, the premise just doesn't interest me. - I watch anime dubbed only. Not interested in watching it in the original language, since I can't tell Japanese voices apart and also can't tell what emotion the VAs are supposed to be conveying. - I like that Walking Dead is forging it's own path and not following the comics too closely. Not only has it made the show much more exciting, but the comics have been meandering around not doing much interesting for a couple of years now - adapting that would make for a boring TV show. - I enjoyed Transformers Prime. Not without it's flaws, but still quite a bit of fun. - I generally don't mind product placement. If the characters are all driving the same type of vehicle or the camera lingers on a logo for an extra second or something similar, I don't even notice. It only bugs me if (for example) the characters need [specific brand of product] to save the world or if it doesn't make sense for the setting ("...and then Tyrion pulls out his Samsung Galaxy S5 and sends a text to Sansa..."). - I don't like The Daily Show or The Colbert Report. The few episodes I've watched, I didn't find anything funny...and if I want unfunny fake news with a liberal bias, I can always watch MSNBC.
‘Big Bang Theory’ is unfunny and unlikeable stereotypical nonsense. ‘Red Dwarf’ was all the poorer for Kryten’s introduction. ‘GI Joe: Renegades’ would have been better without Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Snake Eyes was essentially a super hero. Tried a couple of times to get into ‘Breaking Bad’ without success. Found it un-engaging and dull. The first series of ‘Blackadder’ is the best. ‘Dr Who’ post Christopher Eccleston lacks the style, charm and uniqueness of the show I watched as a boy. I don’t see, what was a very British show, now having an international fan base as being a particularly good thing. The 2011 ‘Thundercats’ reboot was not as good as the sum of its parts, and certainly not as good as the original show. Simon Cowell, and his karaoke shows, have poisoned our TV schedules for years to come.
1. Have you seen it? 2. Which series? As for mine, I like Doctor Who, but the Daaaaaleks are becoming a joke for me. They show up way too much, the Doctor generally beats them so he shouldn't get so worked up, they're like the 80s super villains. They say they're dead, but then they suddenly pop back up.
jem is awesome! and has a really catchy opening song, it's truly outrageous! the only mlp i like is fim, i've never given the others a chance though....
There were plenty of 90's cartoons that weren't good at all, but that's a pretty general statement. I mean, come on, Batman TAS was a 90's cartoon, are you saying it's not great? You didn't say "most", you just said "90's cartoons."
You know what era of cartoons I don't get? The 80s cartoons. Not saying they were bad, not saying anything against people who like them, I just...don't get them.
Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Megas XLR, Sym-Bionic Titan, Adventure time (first 3 seasons though) TMNT 2K3/2K12, Avatar: TLA, Batman: BaB. I haven't had the chance to see it, but yeah, I will correct it so it isn't that much of a broad statement.
As much as I enjoy superheroes on the big screen, when it comes to the small screen I generally prefer TV shows like Once Upon a Time, Sleepy Hollow and Supernatural (in its early days) to superhero fare. I've been "meaning" to catch up with Arrow for going on three years. I watched one episode of Flash and didn't bother watching anymore. I half heartedly watch Gotham. I watch and enjoy SHIELD because of its connection to the MCU, but I'm not as into it as my other shows. I'm excited for Agent Carter, though - that offers something different with an awesome female character as the star.
