Full Tilt is kind of like that due to the transformation. The plate that snaps over his crotch is rather...jutted.
Sometimes, I wish that Generations stayed with giving G1 characters updated alt modes(Like they did with Kup and Blurr by giving them Earth alt modes instead of classic G1) and leave the G1 accuracy to MP line.
Were you just posting about him on Instagram? Someone I know was posting a ton of pictures of Classics Jetfire and it was really making me want one.
lol down girl
But he's so cool. *makes grabby hands*
The movieverse dinobots shit on the potp dinobots in every conivble way.
That's ten times better than that god awful super man pose everyone does! Super man pose is embarrassing and annoying. I feel that is more prevalent. I guess bad *** is in the eye of the beholder.
Absolutely agreed. Pelvic thrusts belong nowhere outside of Humping Robot sketches and dancing the Time Warp.
Noooo where else?
That reminds me... I need to go rewatch the "Turned Down for What" video again.
Not I, said the dog.
I clearly missed something interesting.
That video's an experience, to be sure.
I love and can never get enough Optimus Prime toys, but by God he must be the character most prone to annoying toys. CW Optimus (still my favorite because of it being my most well rounded) is kind of weirdly shaped, I haven't touched my WFC Optimus in years and then there are the grandfathers of them all...
I don't think there is one Leader Class Optimus Prime that I truly enjoy. The closest is the '07 movie Leader, for all its inaccuracies. It's really just annoyance, like every one I find is close but also so far. ROTF Prime is legendary in robot and vehicle mode*, but getting him between modes is a chore and not at all pleasurable. POTP Optimus? Robot mode is godly and I want to love it, but the vehicle and Orion modes are complete gaffes.
My ideal Optimus would be one that transforms only into a cab — no strings, just a reasonably sized cab — and transforms relatively simply into a fairly tall height that's not off the scales like your average Leader and not a hobbit like Classics or TR and is just well rounded. Don't want all modes or the transformation perfect, just nothing that is so darn glaring that I can't ignore it. Optimus is a simple, cool design yet Hasbro can't ever seem to sit down and just make a good toy of it. I don't even need G1 at this point. Give me Armada for all I care.
Also, I really wish Hasbro would stop using clear plastic. Especially on parts painted and will see use. The recent Jazz is a perfect example of Hasbro being untrustworthy with clear plastic, what with his cracking hood.
I love the TR line. Best generations line ever, in part due to giving characters their original and beautiful Cybertronian altmodes.
Instead of your wish, I wish they'd give all the 84 bots and cons in the generations line Cybertronian altmodes from now on and only give them earth altmodes in the Masterpiece line.
I wish we could get weaponized alt modes on a more regular basis. Sorta like what beast hunters did but closer to what the DOTM wreckers are. Would be a way to refresh a line and or get reuse out of molds
TR stands in my book as a big exception for me. Blurr, Highbrow and Krok look awesome. Also, I like your idea with Cybertronian modes.
Well, it was a meant to be a little ironic. Since that's apparently what we'll get the next few years. I'm a bit double about it. I like Cybertronian altmodes. But I prefer faithfull updates for the characters that haven't gotten an update yet. And I like earth modes too. Cybertronian altmodes for the 84 cast could be cool. I'm hoping for deluxe class Constructicons in that style. And maybe we'll get another shot at Shockwave. But I don't know whether I'll actually buy that much if it's only the 84 cast. Wait and see.
Oh, you were finished? Oh, well, allow me to retort:
Separate names with a comma.
