My issue with SS optimus is he is dark but it doesn't look like dirt and filth. It looks like those are his stock colors and it's horribly inaccurate

I don't care about the massive hate for Windblade, she's awesome and I love the hell out of her. She has a unique and beautiful design and a bitchin alt-mode.

Yes! I totally see where you're coming from! I don't really understand why she's hated so much. A unique and fresh design, different origin, and an unusual alt mode for an Autobot.

The majority of jetformers being released now have terrible engineering. They just put the top shell of a jet on the back and pay no attention to the actual shape and profile (POTP Starscream, CW Arielbots, etc.) I'd like to see jetformers designed in a similar manner to SS Blackout

    This is correct.

I'm hoping the (almost certainly?) forthcoming BB Movie Starscream figure displays some level of innovation on this.

SS Starscream is much better than most but I did mean to write Blackout. I think Jetformers would benefit from being engineered like him where a large-yet-hollow alt mode compresses into a dense bot.

Generations Metroplex should be recycled so we can build shampoo bottles out of it. There I said it.

This is correct. They did a decent job with TLK Nitro, but otherwise they have gotten super lazy.

The Classics Seeker mold, while not perfect, is an example of how to do it right. A more recent (and more stylized) example is the RID 2015 seeker mold.

These two molds are proof that "robot under jet" is a cop-out.

I agree with the Jetformer bit. PotP Starscream and Dreadwind I find really disappointing, I'm usually not one to get upset over kibble but they feel a bit extreme. Having just about the entire robot scrunched up under the flat image of a jet almost.
I have the SS Thundercracker, and it's a decent improvement at least.

Probably an unpopular opinion in itself, but I picked up the RID2015 Skywarp a while ago, and honestly it's quickly become my favorite mold for seekers.

Hell, I would even consider the RID Warrior class Seeker mold to be the best non-MP Seeker mold in the last 5 years.

While they are some improvements that could be made to make the figure a lot more awesome, that Seeker mold is the only Deluxe sized Seeker mold that I can think of that pull off good articulation and no overly bulky jet under-kibble at the same time (I know the old Classic Seeker mold is a massive fan-favorite, but the articulation on that mold isn't all that good even for its time)

Amen. I’ve been banging that drum for a long time. I like that RID mold so much I painted a custom Thundercracker to complete the original trio.

    I like your style bro.

    Flimsy? Check.
    Hollow? Check.
Bad face sculpt (that one is opinionated but still...)? Check.
    Hideous alt modes? Check.
    Ridiculous looking weapons? Check.
Worthless voice and sound gimmics? Check.
Missing more paint that my cottage?Check.
Out of scale with Trypticon? Check.

Overall overpriced piece of garbage with better (albeit vastly more expensive, but worth every cent) alternative? At this point I need to borrow more checks.

Trypticon feels like MP in comparison with Metroplex. Heck, even FM IMO it's better.

    Ha!

    I still like Metroplex, though.

Is that unpopular? Did I contribute?

    Erhm? Why? About what?

A little bit of hyperbole if I may say so. He is equally hollow as well, only it masquerades it as a gimmick :p

Quite the opposite me thinks. Most people like Generations Metro.

Loosely toy related. I don't care whether you like Windblade or not, but "HI I'M WINDBLADE" is the least funny thing this fandom has to offer.
