Unpopular opinion: I'm grateful for anything Hasbro throws our way that even feels like it's trying to be collector-oriented.

I don't think we need a name. Naming those of us that have no interest in the comics would just deepen the divide.
It's just a lot easier not denouncing the comics at every turn. Makes for a lot less hostility.

I think the need to be collector-oriented might be a bit of a problem because the lines meant for younger audiences are kind of taking a slump.

Unfortunately, when one slumps, the other may end up suffering. I just hope they have different 'accounts' within Hasbro, because that RiD line just keeps getting less and less interesting (at least to me). It's kind of like Rescue Bots with harder edges.

I'm perfectly fine with Superion's proportions. His arms logically are too long, but they just look normal to me. They make him look more powerful.

Sometimes it seems like beast wars fans are more self eniltled than g1 purists

Well, I'm a fan of the Beast Wars toys and characters (the show on the other hand...) but I think Radical BW fans are pissed that g1 figures are redone and they think since BW is the best series ever (which it isn't) that the figures should be redone instantly.
Don't get me wrong, I love generations Rattrap and Rhinox. However, shoving your opinion down a persons throat won't get much done. Instead it makes you look more a like a fool.

I'm also grateful for anything Hasbro throws our way, even if there are compromises to ensure kids will be able to enjoy the same figures as we do.

There are a vocal few fans of each era who are embarrassingly self-entitled - and you only know of them because of how vocal they are. The reasonable ones stay relatively quiet and just sit back and enjoy the robits...

I'm fine with Mute Bee. I think its an idea that can still be properly portrayed. Though I understand others not being a fan of it.

I agree with all these.I'm glad they're releasing numerous G1 rehashes because it placates the masses, but I'm bummed because little of it is interesting to me or to the new kids. I've seen quite a few kids really talking favorably about the new RiD Warriors in toy aisles. Since I think the current TF comics are just as bland as any other comic (TF or otherwise), I really don't understand the obsession. I do find it hilarious that in 2007/2008 everyone hated Drift for being a new character yet comic fans froth at the mouth for toys of Rung, DJD, Pharma, Minimus Ambus, etc... of these made-up characters.

My unpopular opinion: the only two reveals yesterday that didn't elicit a yawn from me were RiD Warrior Thunderhoof and Kre-O Battle Changers Blitzwing. Thunderhoof looks great, and Blitzwing is my favorite character so I have to buy anything of him.

There is nothing wrong with being "entitled" when you're paying good money for these things.
