-- I actually don't mind CGI -- I'm like the only one with this opinion but I think ESB is the weakest of the STAR WARS original trilogy.
Like I said, without guys like you, I'd never analyse a movie propperly. You keep me honest Dude, Titanic was kind of boring. A 3hr romance epic with insane special effects. I saw it once, out of curiosity and honestly the only parts I remember with clarity are Kate Winslett getting her kit off, and that guy who hits the props when the ship is upright and starts spinning like a Catherine Wheel before hitting the water Gladiator has one of the finest soundtracks known to man, Hans Zimmer is a genius and Lisa Gerrard has an amazing voice.
Which room are we talking about? Tommy wiseau movie or some other room movie that Ive never heard of?
I think this thread title should be altered to be "Unpopular Film Opinions and Admittances". Believe it or not, I still encounter people who think everything and anything he does is gosh-awful, and that he hasn't improved at all. To which I disagree.
If you live somewhere where these are unpopular opinions, my suggestion would be to put down the banjo and move. There are a lot of posters saying that the original Star Wars trilogy is overrated. I would agree that no movie or movie franchise is as good as the hype that those films receive, but part of that sentiment seems to derive from one of two reasons. The first reason is that it gets beat to death how great the films are. You hear about this epic life-changing film and the first hour is two robots walking through a desert. The second reason is that many people don't see it until they've been exposed to hundreds of films and have already been exposed to similar themes, elements, and effects. Star Wars comes off as a formulic film rather than the innovator of those formulas. My semi-unpopular opinion: The following films were beyond horrible: Twister (great cinematography and cast), Starship Troopers, Austin Powers 3, Napolean Dynamite.
Matrix Reloaded is the best of the series. Captain America is the worst movie of the five pre-Avengers movie. Jackie Brown is Tarantino's second best film. John Wayne is a better Rooster than Jeff Bridges. I liked the Hitman movie. The first Blade movie is one of the best comic book movies of all time. Probably fifth. Spider-Man 3 would have been a decent movie with a better Venom. Probably better than the first.
