If using Kickstarter- please allow an option for more than one copy,,it can be a pledge level, or an addon option later.

I'm all for a kickstarter campaign so long as the tier packages are worth it. ;)

Megatron finding himself in the layout proof of the Unofficial Photographic Archive. The final will be in hardcover, but this was just a test print to make sure the layout looked good on paper and to have a presence at TFcon.

Kickstarter will be going live very soon, here's the facebook page to keep up with it. Ocular Echo

Will there be something showing the differences between the Hasbro and Takara versions, where applicable (Megatron, Fort Max, etc)? Later years have totally different characters (Siren/Goshooter, PM Optimus/Ginrai) but some are just accessory differences.

We are including as much as we can. If we know about it, it's in there. Megatron is a different mold and colour, so he will definitely be in his respective regional section. Max as well

sorry if this has already been addressed (I haven't gone back to re-read the whole thread again), but will there be an index planned? I need to check my copy of Transformers Legacy, but I believe that lacked an index and the addition of those few pages would make it much easier to go back and find a specific toy.

Of course. We were planning on it for a while. There's also a table of contents earlier in the book with subclass and year listings

Cool. In my mind this and the TF Legacy book will be great companion pieces and it'd be helpful if at least one of the two had an easy way to cross reference. I total understand categorizing the book by either year and/or toy group, but having a quick option to just look up say "Sky Lynx" without having to skim pages really makes a difference when I'm looking to check out a specific thing(s).

Bummer about the pdfs, would love to be able to read this on my iPad while I travel.

Excited for the physical books though!

Not too fussed over a slip cover, especially if there might be a volume 3 down the road. Unless you are able to cram some more stuff into volume 2 like all the e-hobby, tfcc and encore G1 repaints.

    Can't wait!

I'm kind of indifferent on a slip cover. I'm good as long as I get the books.
