Just trying to show off what toys scale well together here.
    IMG_20180122_195502.jpg
Generations Rattrap & Waspinator, Beast Wars Tarantulas & Cheetor, Generations Rhinox, Beast Wars Inferno, Steel Planet Dinobot & Beast Wars Megatron.
    IMG_20180122_201624.jpg
Beast Wars Scorponok, Masterpiece Cheetor, Optimus Primal & Dinobot (Pic not available yet)

Will do more later, for example Beast Wars Rattrap, Tigatron & Rhinox scale well together. Anyone who has the same figs from the top pic, could you please capture a better photo? I have to cover every surface in my house in sheets to take pics and they are still barely readable lol.

Oku took the time to capture some nicer versions of the season one characters so thanks to him for doing that.

Made a few tweaks and spent some more time looking at refs as I may be responsible for the scale of some plastic versions of these guys and kills so the steaks are real here so if you see something that doesn't look right please post your thoughts.

Here are the latest versions of the chart.

It's just me or MP-43 is a bit smaller than what it should?

It looks about right to me, have you seen the screen cap from Chain of Command with Dinobot and Megs fighting? I think in all the pics of MP-43 I've seen his legs are bent or has a wide stance. When I get Dinobot and Megatron myself, if they turn out to be different to this chart I'll probably take TT's word over my own. I hope that either Dinobot or Megatron get released with some sort of manual with some cool stuff in it like their own scale chart or references.

Some screencaps for TM2 Megatron and Tigerhawk (also, watching the final battle between Depthcharge and Rampage, it seems they're almost the same size...don't know if their repsective heights have been modified for that scene tho):

Those are really nice quality pics. The submersible platform scene really makes Megatron look a lot bigger than Rampage doesn't it.

Here's some Optimal refs, a lot of size shifting going on here. TM2 Cheetor and Rhinox are the same height so those two reaching the mid pelvis seems most consistent, problem is at that size he dwarfs TM2 Megatron.

    optimalshitstorm.png

This is a deleted scene, so perhaps it doesn't carry as much weight as other refs? It does seem to refelect how the scaled together in their final fight though.

    tm2megsoptimal.png

Do you mean just Dinobot II in relation to Rampage or the pair of them compared to other charaters?

I used this poster Rainmaker emailed me just for those two in relation to each other and this other one to scale crab legs showing Rampage with the other Transmetals.
Rampage is floating a little in the pic with the white background though so I did drop him down ever so slightly in the chart so his feet lined up with the other bots in the picture.

Figures XJang are making a 3P TM2 Megs is using our chart for scaling figures so I thought it was time to have another look at everything make sure it's as dead on as possible,.

That's exciting, so they'll scale nicely with the MPs TT put out.

Yes, and we also have to consider that in the last episodes Rampage is basically at the same size of Depthcharge. Are we really sure these images are correct about Rampage's size?

Watching their final fight this was the best capture I could get, and it isn't really usable cause Rampage is in the foreground. I don't think we ever really see them next to each other in a good scale representing shot as I watched their other fight from Deep Metal very closely the other night.

And with Tigerhawk and Megatrons fight, they are both in beast mode the whole time they are clashing so no good references there.

At this point I've been through season 3 with a fine toothed comb and scale refs are very sparse other than what I already had.

With that last pic I put my ruler against the TV, DC is nice and straight he's 18cm. Then I put my ruler against Rampage and 18cm reaches his shoulder and his legs are bent. We cannot tell if Rampage is closer to us or not though.

I've currently got Depthcharge at 275mm and Rampage at 299mm in the chart. A 24mm difference isn't a lot really for those sizes.

Here is a run down of the latest charts heights in millimeters.

    * All in mm, measurements to the top detail of robot mode heads.
    Optimal Optimus: 360
    TM2 Megatron: 333
    Tigerhawk: 320
    Rampage: 299
    Depthcharge: 275
    Dinobot II: 275
    Transmetal Megatron: 270
    Megatron: 253
    Transmetal Optimus: 234
    Dinobot: 231
    Inferno: 223
    Rhinox: 207
    TM2 Cheetor: 207
    Silverbolt: 206
    Tigatron: 202
    Terrorsaur: 200
    Ravage: 196
    Transmetal Cheetor: 187
    Optimus Primal: 184
    Transmetal Tarantulas: 175
    Cheetor: 165
    Airazor: 165
    Tarantulas: 161
    Waspinator: 158
    Scorponok: 157
    Transmetal Rattrap: 155
    TM2 Blackarachnia: 150
    Rattrap: 147
    Blackarachnia: 146
    Quickstrike: 137

Where did you find all those character models?

Are you ever going to do a beast mode size chart. Preferably a show accurate version and a real life beast size chart? Sort of like the toy size chart which isn't at l accurate to the show but instead of scaling to their toys you scale them according to the animals they transform into. You can always use Cheetor and Tigatron as a guide since we know they were already accurate to their beast modes in the show.

Fuzors might be kinda difficult, Quickstike would be a lot bigger if you scale him to a cobra than he would be if scaled to a scorpion but perhaps you could scale them half way between the two.

Also I'd like to see Beast Machines added into the scale chart. Just use Optimal Megatron as a guide. Or the season Maximals beast modes since that's really the only way you can get accurate comparisons with BW and BM.
