    Oh, I thought this was going to be a thread about the Nemisis ship. From either Beast Wars or G1. That's the only, real, Nemisis I know of.

    Same here.

    Had the OP used the plural form, nemeses, instead of the singular, there probably wouldn't have been any confusion.

    ...

    Except by the people who'd post that the OP spelled 'nemesis' wrong, and insist that the word for more than one nemesis is 'nemesisses.'

    A Nemesis is your arch-rival, who you can't beat, as the dictionary says.

    Nemesis doesn't mean 'evil twin', and a bad guy's nemesis would logically be a good guy.

    But saying that, Nemesis doesn't really make sense as part of someone's name, and besides, it doesn't infer who they're the nemesis of.

    So, IMO, 'Nemesis Bruticus' means a dude called Bruticus, who is someone's nemesis. Possibly the nemesis of Defensor, his autobot counterpart?

    God, I typed nemesis too many times now, it's starting to look nonsensical....
