Wouldn't Nemesis Bruticus be an Autobot? Since Bruticus is a Decepticon and their nemesis' are the Autobots?
He does have a point there.
Hmm, and all the other "Nemesis" names do have a other faction counterpart as well, further lending credience to the idea that a Nemesis Bruticus would indeed be an Autobot.
What would that make Nemesis Punch, since Punch already has an opposite in Counterpunch?
it's an autobot trick!!!!!!!!!
<Points to Nemesis Strika
Does Nemesis-ing involve a faction change, or just producing a version of the character with Extra Evil (tm)?
"If its an Autobot, yes a faction change. Unless the Autobot is already evil-ish.
EASY THREE STEP GUIDE TO "NEMESISSING"
1. You look EXACTLY like whoever's nemesis you are. EXACTLY like them. There's a reason that MotorMaster and Scourge weren't actually called Nemesis Prime dontya know!
2. All main colours -> BLACK. All trim colours -> TEAL/PURPLE/RED.
3. Thou shalt not speak. Because not talking = teh abdassery. And we all know Nemesises are badass.
I think it just means a character is more evil than their non-Nemesis counterpart.
So whoever he is the Nemesis of, means that person cannot defeat him. Nemesis Bruticus cannot be defeated by his arch rival Bruticus. How can they be arch rivals if they are both Decepticons?
THEY DONT HAVE TO ARCH RIVALS!
In my opinion, they should be. Then again, there really hasn't ever been any real guidlines to characters with Nemesis in their names, so it's all personal opinion.
I think "Nemesis Strika" was created just to sound cool.
As for "Nemesis Prime" ... believe that's a play on "Optimus Prime" ... literally. 3 syllababballsls with the same "es" sound at the end. That and "Scourge" was kind of boring.

Now He Tell Ya!1!! Omg Rofl!!1!
The definition of Nemesis is something or someone that you can't overcome. You wouldn't be trying to overcome them if they were your friend. Only an enemy.
I'm still waiting for a Nemesis Primus!.
