My neighbor is having a yard sale tomorrow and he let me preview and even buy some stuff today. His older son is selling a TF that I dont remember the name of. It was after g1 so Im not familiar with it, but I know its blue, transformers into a planet but NOT Unicron. He said that the keys are missing (dont know what the keys are for). Anyways, I was gonna buy it from him for my personal collection, but I would rather get him a fair price for it. Who is he and how much is he worth? If it is worth more than Im willing to pay for it, is anyone here interested in buying it?

you can just use any cyber key but primus needs that big 'omega lock' thing to transform and activate gimmick, so without it not really worth much

You can TF him without the lock. Just use a pen or something to push the latch - or force it (at your own risk).

You don't need the Omega Lock to transform the figure or unlock gimmicks.

$30's a more than fair price, depending on it's condition. But I'd go for $20 considering it belonged to a kid that more than likely played with it a fair bit.

In that condition, offer around $20-25.

Primus comes with some missiles, an omega lock, and a generic cyber key. If your missing all that, he ain't worth a whole heck of a lot. He also has electronics, but that's not as impressive as you might think.

    Cybertron Primus

Since it is missing the key and maybe more plus like others have said probably played with a lot I would say about $25. It looks like they are going for around $30 loose on e-bay.

Someone bought the Omega Lock for $32.99.

The toy sold for $50 originally at retail. Some places clearanced them for about $30.

The toy is out of package and loose, which I would say should bring it down to $25 easily.

Missing all accessories should knock another ten bucks off easily. Especially if it is in "played with" condition.

And this isn't about ebay prices. If you want to pay ebay prices you should shop on ebay. This is garage sale prices and garage sale prices are supposed to be CHEAP.

Ten bucks should be more than a fair price for this thing, fifteen might be fair depending on the condition.

Do not pay more than 20 bucks.

I would agree with not paying more than 20 bucks. I found mine secondhand for 5 bucks! No omega lock- but a double A battery works just as good for transforming him.

How much was he going to sell it for at the yard sale? If it's really cheap, why not offer him double? You'll probably end up getting a good deal, and he'll be thrilled. Win-win.

Aren't the feet or toes held on by just push plugs too? I'm sure I remember the feet or something like that coming off on mine. Make sure it has those parts.
